Yang, I think their TT bars on on sideways and Gwynna's aero helmet is on backwards. Pointy side goes in the back, right?

I am confused:

Are pinholes good or bad?

What is that uneven surface underneath them with their backwards TT helmets?

Strong magnets are awesome toys for small children and pets?

I thought we were talking about fancy kits and the relative benefits of different chamois choices.
A possible solution for getting out the dirt of racing immediately post race.

Now it just needs to be "scalable," aka the Gates Foundation decides to back it.

Ugh. My cat hates me. Or something. Peed all over my race bag, including my shoes and helmet. The shoes I have to try to save. Obviously. The formerly orange-ish lid is a total loss.

I'll be wearing the white lid from a few years ago until our new ones come in.
Get a dog.
I'm double checking if anyone has a Medium skinsuit for sale- new/ used or otherwise they can part with.

Long sleeve or short sleeve doesn't matter. Endurance chamois would be nice- I neglected to order a skinsuit on this past CS order and am now regretting it. Don't want to wait until July!!

I realize this is probably an old and dead discussion, but since I've only recently been given the approval by my wife to wear a skin suit again, I noticed in pics, that I have one of the "famous" blue belly suits. And I have to say that at certain angles and if I suck it in just so, I don't look disgusting.

sidebar: YES JP, I'm still ordering large jerseys because I'm actually still fat, just not so fat that if I buy size appropriate clothes, I manage to look...not gross. (apologies to the dudes on this weekends rides with me when I squeezed into old "medium" kit.)

Back to the skin suit. I would consider ordering (especially for cross, the regular skin suit, thicker material that seems perfect for like 80% of cross season) another skin suit if we went with blue belly. White belly? Not so much.

Again, I think this point of order has been settled by the conservative majority of our supreme court already, but I thought I would write a friend of the court brief anyway. Because I'm a trouble maker.

(next brief I intend to ressurrect the "let's get a winter/messy weather kit" with more navy blue and less white.)

JK...sort of...ducks objects being hurled at him by Jules, Ros and Whitey.

Any update on socks?
@Marc

I'll be working on the socks when I return from the UK (next week).
Question for upcoming KCC clothing order: On CS bib tights- what size do you guys wear? I wear medium bib shorts but wear Large leg warmers, which I find tend to run small. Anyone been wearing Champ Sys bib tights care to chime in?
Im in the same boat; medium bibs and large leg warmers. To be honest the CS winter bibs just don't work for me; they get too stretchy too fast, or are far too short. I have a pAir of medium knickers that fit well but barely cover my knees. Sometimes I wear them on top of knee covers...
Hi Jules,
What size did you end up getting in the tights- Med or Large? Curious if I get the mediums and they stretch out will they work or is length the issue. Hesitant to order large as I think they'll be too big.
For Sale: Just in time for Fall... 2 Medium long sleeve C/S Tech jerseys. Lightweight material like the standard short sleeve jerseys, just with long sleeves. These were Club cut but I had them taken in on the sides so they fit like a Race Cut. Never worn, sadly. Like new. Say $40 a piece or make an offer. I'm in Soho during the day and can meet there 9-5.
Question on the pro winter jacket- what size did you guys go with last year? I'm a medium in most stuff- (small race cut in their jerseys even) In last years order I got a medium jacket and it was short in the arms making it impossible to wear and/or bend my arms? Do I really need a large?
Craig I'm surprised that the med sleeves are that small on you. Does the rest of the jacket fit well? On a side note, I'm not a big fan of the single zipped, tapered pocket because it is hard to access with full finger gloves.
I wear a large in all my kit and last year got the non-pro thermoshield jacket.  Size large was a bit too short in the arms and there doesn't appear to be enough fabric to let anything out.  I've tried doing the Stretch Armstrong thing with it to stretch the fabric and that worked a little bit.  I'm tempted to buy the xl and have it taken in, though I don't know it's worth it.  My long sleeve spring jersey is also short in the arms.

Craig, if you're ever in Sunset Park - you're welcome to try my large jacket.

I have to say that I'm disappointed in my "large" Pro thermoshield jacket sizing wize. My "medium" in an older generation is more comfortable. Granted it's not the "pro" design. Anyway, the pro fits like a tailored suit...which means, I can't really comfortably layer too much underneath and it tugs at my arm pits a bit. JP has seen me in the jacket and was surprised to hear that it was a size large.

Fortunately, with that jacket you really don't need anything other than a single long sleeve baselayer underneath it...AND I would never race in it. Way, way, WAAAAYYYYY too warm.

Even on those cold Northampton morning starts when you wonder how any day in November could possible be this cold, I end up racing with the fleecy stretchy jersey/jacket and one or two base-layers underneath. That's for cold days.

+1 on not liking the big single zippy pocket. I don't like my used gel wraps mingling with my cell phone and keys. Also zipper on a rear pocket?  #notcomplain'n #justsay'n
I think the Pro jacket is an inferior garment to the basic winter jacket. I'm a three-pocket man.

New Jpow kit looks pretty good to me.

So after/before, whatever, CX camp, noticed that one of my pair of racing shorts has developed the floating Oujia padded panel piece, right about where, well you know. Yesterday, I sort of managed to "spirit" the teardrop/heart-ish shaped pad to the proper location, but anyone have a more permanent fix for this issue?

Send it back to CS. Same has happened to a few people who posted about it. Call and they'll email you a shipping label.

Do as Jules said. I got some bibs replaced in April. Apparently a supplier provided CS defective chamois(es?).

That's about as Baloney an excuse as I've ever heard, but whatevs.  So long as they replace them.

Hey, not that it's a bad thing, but I just spent like $10 on a pair of Ride Brooklyn Socks. Would rather have spent that on KCC branded ones. Any updates on the ETA of such a thing?

None that I know of.  The problem was Champsys not being able to include socks in pre-collated orders.

There was some talk of a one-off with the likes of Sock Guy.  Best to reach out to Jeff W directly.
If the prices they note in this post are accurate, I would wear this whenever possible -- even walking down the street.
