Kissena can bring up to a five-man team (Pro-1-2-3 only) for this prestigious Central Park race on June 29. Who wants to be on it? Let the jockeying begin.
First!
@vlad: First is the worst, second is the best, third is the one with the hairy chest.

I will be racing it for Mengoni.
P.S. this is a snarky joke.
That is the closest I will actually come to first if I get the invite
^one of these days @Vlad is going to decide it's pain time and scare the ever-loving shit out of a P123 field.
I want to race this, but...

I think having some sort of selection criteria greater than discretion of development director, which it was last year, is probably a good idea.  Figuring this out is more important.

All the same, starting to figure out who wants to do it is going in the right direction.

And if you haven't raced Central Park in the 1/2/3's, or have only done it occasionally, you've got races on April 6 and 12 to check it out.  Race it you should, it's a great course.

As I mentioned before, I'm currently scheduled to be out of town on the day of the race.

But if my plans change suddenly (as they tend to, in a house with a toddler), and responding to this poll is the first step in the selection process then I'll vote in the affirmative.
Bump.

Want to see more vitriol.
I'm really hoping it happens this year. Kissena's 2's (and 1?), it's on you. This is perhaps the best CP race of the year.

Bump. Just got the email looking for cat 3 rouleurs. I'd be in, don't want to bump someone who has been itching to do it more though. Andy?

Jules is on the job...I think we have a cat 2 " out of town" problem...but maybe not. Mattie, you could dm him for more info.
Ps I'm out of town, but can't change my vote status here so ignore me.
Has the team been selected yet?
Not yet- we're asking people to submit their names if they want to be considered, then will have a discussion among those interested in a separate email thread. We're asking people to put their names in by the end if the day today. Take a look at the mass email that was sent to the whole club for full details. My hope is that that settles it, but we'll come up with a tiebreak if necessary. So, Joe, are you submitting your name for consideration?
I would like to race.

sent an email

I will be jet lagged, but that would help me with the early start time.
Weird didn't get the email. But I would put my name in.
Hey, who's racing this tomorrow?

Roster is :

JP, Dale Sutton, Perlberg, Vlad, Andy, and myself.

Mike will be there in spirit only, although a cardboard cutout* will be on hand for podium shots if necessary.

*fireman Mike!
How long does it take to ride from the Manhattan Bridge to the Rambles at 4:30 in the morning?
wanna meet?

Sure that will give me some impetus to be on time.  Still not sure what time that has to be.  Is 4:50 at Manhattan Bridge ok?
That seems a little late. It's always taken me 40 to 45 min to ride from one of the bridges to a CP, unless you ride at TT pace. So probably need to leave a little earlier if you want to allow time to get through the reg line, bathroom and pinning up.
Aargh, ok
4:15?

Ouch. Between 4:30 and 4:40 would probably work.
I usually roll over the BB on my way up there. You guy want to meet there? 4:20 to play it safe? Might be a shit show at reg if wait to last minute.
420 at bb sounds good to me
