Super bummed. Worked waaay too hard with Tokeneke on the plate tomorrow. Cramped up badly coming down the final descent and knew I wouldn't be able to hold it in the sprint. Attacked going into the final corner and pulled the field with me. 

10th place, no money no points, but was racing for the win. Was in a few breaks that we just couldn't stick. Ah well. I'll tell myself it was good prep for GMSR. Time to roll the legs and rest for tomorrow. 

Also, power meter cut out, so it's like this race never happened. Guess that means I'm rested for tomorrow!

I raced for the result instead of the points. Was I too aggressive? Oh yeah. But it was hard and it was fun. Based on my cramps, I took a calculated risk to try and get a gap. Earlier in the race, based on the field, I went with moves that didn't stick. Looking at the full results, half the field didn't finish or was pulled. Apparently, we nearly caught the 3 field ahead of us. I narrowed the odds as best I could knowing it would end in a sprint, so I can't be too disappointed. That said, gotta grab that podium tomorrow. 

I think I'll do this race, any others thinking of going?

I'm thinking about it but depends on how my leg feels after this weekend - want to get in a good bit of climbing on Sunday and see how it holds up. I'd be interested in car-pooling if I go
