I've been on this forum nearly as long as it's been around and it is an affront to our honor that the Wilmington Grand Prix only now has its own thread, as it is the best, hardest crit in the Northeast. That's right. Have a look-see at the "Can't Miss Race" threads going back forever and you can read all about it.
It's put on (in part) by LVG, it's eight corners, it rewards extreme aggression. Extreme aggression. The kind where you don't even have to think to yourself, "should I close that gap?", because the actual correct tactic in that scenario is always to burn all your matches, bar tape, knuckle skin, gel packets, BB grease, and tingly Euro-style chamois cream in a scintillating attack. Every. Single. Corner.
It pays 12 deep in the 4/5s, hence the Grand Prix moniker. God help you if you're in a higher category -- this one's for animals.
