So... what was your favorite race moment of 2019?

Could be a pro race like MvDP coming back at Amstel, or Fahringer finishing 8th at Namur or a race or even a ride you did, like dropping the group at Bear Mountain, or getting lost in private property with Dotan, or that time Connor got on the almost winning break.

What's yours?

I think for me, watching, whatever pro racing I can, and lately it's mostly cross, I'm very much engaged in the women's pro cx races. They seem to keep the racing very exciting. I don't have a favorite moment, I just enjoy watching the pros do what they do best.

For me, this was a decent year. Most of my development and work was done at the track. I can say my last Weekend Vie13 Series race was probably the best racing all season. I didn't win the overall omnium for the day but I won the overall series that day. I raced perfectly to finish where I needed to finish to ensure the overall win and take home the 2019 Men Cat 4 jersey. On the last race of the day I had a good advantage on my competitor chasing me for the jersey so I was able to have some fun and mix it up with the bunch, and inflict some pain.

In cross, I felt quite good this year. I had my best race on the second one of the my season at Lucky Charm, NJ. I raced twice that day, in the Men Cat 4 early in the day, and a few hours later in the Men 4/5 40+. I got a 14th and 9th place finish in those races. I raced a bit aggressively, or like I like to say, with authority. Sadly I was hoping to have a few killer races in November only to be put down by a car while training ending my racing season earlier then expected. Luckily, in the grand scheme of things, the damage to my body was minimal.

Hopefully I can build from this years fitness and skill and have an even better 2020!

has to be discovering the all out fun of cross racing (started with Nitany), and hanging with Kissenas when we showed up full force at the races.
