Anyone else considering riding the Festive 500?
500km. Eight days. Christmas Eve to New Year’s Eve.

We will have to do it Social Distance 2020 style. But who's in?

(we don't have do it like the nuts above in one day, we can ride multiple days)

Not sure if I have time to do all 500km but I'll certainly try!

ok sweet. today is day 1. 

From today to December 31st -- 500km. (311miles) that comes down to 62.5 km per day.

Tip 1: If you are gonna ride, ride at least 62.5km (39 miles)
Tip 2: Front load the thing, if you can ride long today and tomorrow. RIght now is about 50 degrees, heading to Nyack/Piermont now.

Very high wind warnings today through tomorrow. Also ice is probably not going to be a factor, but always something to look out for this time of year with the snow melt and varying temps around the area.

I may have to do a Zwift session.
