My son Jackson is collecting money to support a missionary in a small town in Brazil who is feeding families hard hit by the pandemic. I am posting it here as some of you may want to contribute. We learned about the missionary from the sibling of a family friend who lives in Cuiaba. Jackson was moved enough that he wanted to make this his project. I have attached a flyer.
For my community service project as a senior at South Side High School, I am raising money to support needy families in Brazil. As you may know, Brazil has been hit particularly hard by the coronavirus, with especially poor communities having trouble feeding themselves. A family friend put me in touch with Antonia Xavier de Oliveira, a missionary in Cuiabá, who has been running a food kitchen for those in need. I am looking to raise money to help her efforts to support this community. I am collecting money until May 30th, and am emailing you in hopes that you will help assist me in this project.
