Note that it is a charity event, so the minimum entry fee is a rather steep $250, but it includes the race, a post-ride, and a lunch. There is also a team award for the fastest four times by a team.
As a side note, if you've never been to Storm King (a beautiful sculpture park a few miles north of Harriman State Park), you should definitely check it out. Go during the fall -- before Nov. 13, when it closes for the winter -- when the trees are changing colors and enjoy some of the best sculpture and land art around. It's a great trip, even for the kids.
