Any interest in doing the Warwick Loop this Sunday?
It starts and finishes in HoHoKus, NJ. The ride takes on several big hills for the area in about 75 miles. They include Skyline Drive (1.5mi), Old Westbrook (2mi), Upper Greenwood Lake (1mi), Mount Peter (2mi), Sterling Forest (2mi), Old Route 210 into and out of Harriman (2mi then 1mi) and then rollers back to HoHoKus. And if you're still feeling frisky, you can ride home. I'd like to start at 8:30 in HoHoKus.
Notes:
Yes, it's a real town. It's about an hour by train, about 18 miles from the GWB.

Train leaves NY Penn at 7:11. In HoHoKus at 8:17. People can drive, too. When I get a sense of whose coming and how, I'll find appropriate parking.
One planned stop. Warwick.
This is lots and lots of climbing for this area. Grades go up to 14%. Descents can be fast, like 50mph.
It's hard, but not impossible, to make it shorter. don't count on this.
Trains run about every hour back.
You shouldn't need a train pass. All the same, I don't know how they'll deal with lots of bikes.
There might be prizes.
Currently, the forecast calls for heavy rain Sunday. Will cancel if that is really the case. Call will be made on Saturday evening.
