It is supposed to be an annual total, so either use Sep 2010 to Sep 2011 , or estimate for all of 2011.

Does Branchbrook (Newark NJ) count as a NYC park race ? or out of town race ?

The averages go up a bit if you exclude the folks that answered zero races. For example, track has an average pf 0.3 races - but if you take only the folks that said yes to track (4 out of 33) - they average 2.25 track races.
CX sees a similar jump in average from 4 to 9.2 . Stage races average almost doubles as well from 1 to 1.8 . We look like we have low # in some given categories otherwise.
