These are the things I think about in life. Opinions ? Anyone plan on going to either of these ?

Augusta / Sussex Cx is super fun and laid back.

I did the Long Island race. it was fun to be close to be close to home, but overall pretty bootleg. They started the one category race (men and women all Categories) very late, in fact they were setting the course up the morning of. It lacked creativity. Pretty much riding around the asylum.

I think I might check out Sussex this year.

For the reasons that Eric mentioned I'm a big fan of Sussex. I like the guys who organize it too. I've never done the L.I. one you mentioned so I can't compare.

I'm (finally) returning home from Portland on Saturday 26th. I'll plan on going to Sussex. Anyone have space for me and my bike? :-)

I did have a conversation with Patrick re wanting to support local Long Island based racing as well, so I may try to make it out to Long Island Cyclocross Series, Race # 2 of 3 on Dec 4th before the Kissena party.

Derek - I should have space assuming I am coming back to NY Sussex - I'll get back to you tonight on this. We will need some sort of coffee cup photo (the diner nearby had awesome hot chocolate last year) - I can't let Jeff be the only one with cool pics.

I wonder if anyone is planning on being there in time for the 10am race and would be willing to give me a ride. They seem to have really isolated the old guys from the young guys . . .

I will probably do the Cat 3 race.

what about 1-2-3? Am I always destined to RACE ALONE!!!

I am still searching for that elusive cat 3 win.... if the 123 was afterwards I'd double back but very few promoters seem to be cooperating with me in that regard.
