Lactate Threshold and VO2 Max Testing

Who's interested?

At JP's recent training/planing talk, the subject of performance testing came up. We have a friend who is a Sports Medicine doctor and used to race a lot and now does this sort of thing as part of his practice in New Jersey.

While I'm quite sure I couldn't get any "deals" on the service, I could look into scheduling/coordinating appointments for a group of us who wanted to take the trek down together one day this winter.

Let me know.
I wouldn't be able to come as I'm about to go away for 3 months, but.... I'm all for the club starting this sort of thing. I think it would be fantastic!
where are you going for three months?
Los Angeles.

But if I was here, I'd do the LT/VO2 stuff for shizzle. I need scientific proof of how strong I'm not
i'm interested, have a pretty good idea of some of my metrics from a year of power data but some proper testing would be great to set up my zones etc
I haven't forgot about this idea all...I'll keep you informed as I formulate some plans!
Anything come of this?
I did one of these early in the year and was not super impressed; you can get the same data with a 20 minute TT or even a Carmichael-style 3 mile/8 minute TT
Nothing new to report. I'm now thinking late fall/winter is the time to organize this thing as guys are gearing up for road race training in 2012.
Anybody interested? Holler.
sure, why not. depends on the price.
yeah lets do it.
Straight up bro.

I'm going to win.

I always wanted to do this when I was a runner, but never got around to it.
Rick is that a "yes I'm interested?"
@Jules
