@PatrickGrehan thank you, and everyone else involved, for organizing this trip. This really looks like it will be fun. Unfortunately with all my traveling I have planned, I really can't swing this this year .

Unfortunately for me I also have a conflict ... but lucky for everyone else as you can take my spot! I went last year and despite the slightly damp weather we had a lot of fun riding the several great routes starting at your front door.

Still considering Catskills weekend away? 

As of right now, we've got four people who've signed up for the weekend away on June 1-2. Anthony O., Thomas C., John O., and myself. While we could make it happen with that number, we are really looking for a larger turnout to make it more fun and keep costs down.

If you're planning on going, please put in your deposit. If you're on the fence or have questions, reach out to me or anyone who did it before. If we can't get more sign ups by tomorrow then I'll discuss with the people who signed up, but we may consider the following weekend.

Hey all, the current turnout for the weekend of the 1st remains small. So, unless there is a larger group willing to commit to the following weekend, then we may have to scrap it (although a small group could just get a hotel room in the area). 

Please indicate in this thread if you would be willing to commit to a camp the weekend of June 7-8. Those who missed the initial announcement and can go the 1st can also chime in. It would be cool to see a decent sized group for one of the weekends.

Given that we were not able to get enough members to commit to a weekend the board is scraping the idea of a full weekend in the Catskills. Maybe we can reschedule for another time this year as it was really fun. 

We are proposing an alternative: a one day group ride in the Catskills. Since this is less complicated logistically, we don’t have to plan nearly as far ahead and can tweak plans if the weather sucks. 

If you’re interested in a day of beautiful riding upstate make a comment in this thread. Let us all know if you are available on the weekends of June 1 or June 8. I figure that whatever date gets a good turnout with a few cars will be the one to go with. If both weekends are desired by different members we can do two separate trips!
