I love this race coming up on Wednesday, watching the pros climbing the Mur de L'Huy est du grand spectacle!
tout a fait.
I'd like to watch it somewhere live if anyone is interested. I know it's during the week and I'm on break but if anyone else is down, that'd be cool.

It's underway. there are new climbs in the race! I'm gonna go to 'building on bond' soon, they're gonna put it on. there's 90km left in the race.
Great race! Rodriguez deserved the win and Gilbert is finally showing good form. I was struck about the poor performance of the Shlecks and their team in general. I can't already wait for Sunday's event.
Frank flatted 10k before the end but yea the team was nowhere to be seen. Lotto also worked a lot and didn't have much to show for it in the end.
Are you gonna watch the race anywhere?
The weather is going to suck on Sunday, maybe we can have a group together on Bond Street cafe.
Anyone know what time they are showing it or what time is scheduled to finish?
earliest live video is going to be at 8am, approximate finish time: 11am EST
the broadcasting schedule is not up yet. check http://www.steephill.tv/classics/liege-bastogne-liege/
GO VOECKLER!
No good vibes between the Shlecks and Bruyneel, I can see the end of the famous Luxemburg project...
Tomorrow looks like it's going to be a barn-burner for sure. Pidcock does seem to be the one to beat, but there are so many more in the front and second row of contenders. Pogacar & Roglic may not be on their very best form, but they seem to be part of a host of guys "just behind Pidcock" in terms of favorites - Cosnefroy, Pogacar, Roglic. Behind them are Woods, Alaphilippe, Valverde, Schachmann...

They'll be doing the Mur de Huy three times in the last 60km, but the second last time will be with 30km to go.

A cloudy, cool day is forecast.

@Jules - I’m rooting for the wee man Tom, for sure! Given how close he came last week, I think he deserves it. Also, I listened to an interview with him a couple of weeks back, on The Cycling Podcast and he comes off as a super refreshing kid. Big fail on the beer drinking on podium last week though!

loved the comment about being respectful and not pissing people off in the peloton , but in Belgium no one gives a shit that you fight like hell for the wheel

Poj and UAE out of the race
WHAT A FINISH!
Also

Van Der Breggen is a beast.

Women's last KM -- notice Ruth Winder getting caught, and then that fight between Van Der Breggen and Niewiadoma is nuts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spBw1h2YA24

10/10 recommend watching Taylor Phinney’s story for color commentary on the race today.
Valverde's congratulations to the winner seemed mega genuine and heartfelt.
Watching an Der Breggen win for the 7th time my daughter asked, "Are you even allowed to win seven times?"

It's funny but somehow the mercy rule might actually apply here.

It does.

Anna Van Der Breggen ride Sunday made it obvious who she was riding for, they brought a few passengers too. No cares. Fucking Pro. Let's go, let's go, Demi, you got this!

SO MUCH SHARP.

-- Cycling is stupid gorgs, romantic, dramatic, and these early season classics sure bring it hardcore. Seeing the rider that literally won the last race, wearing the world champion stripes, leaving it all to allow a deserving teammate her first pro tour win... Sport barely allows more beauty.

Caveat for doping.
