One-inch-punch anyone?
I went to NAHBS, looking to find out if bike ogling is worth a long drive.

Why does a guy named Bruce Lee need a dagger, while delivering Chinese food?

Couldn't he just get it done with nunchucks, like the original?

I need to find a projector to hook up to my MacBook for an event on Tuesday.

Anyone have one I could borrow?  Or know a way to rent one?

at the race Sat morning.
Jp
what time is the event? If it was after office hours I may be able to help
FYI both B&H and Adorama rent a lot of tech.

It's at 6pm Tuesday night.  In morningside heights though.

Didn't know.  Thanks.

Is anyone else getting these really odd several year old kudos from Strava?

I got them a little while back.  Like a month or more.

Le Poem d'un Tour de Categorie Six

I rode my bike yesterday
in Manhattan instead
of taking the subway for meetings,
wearing a Kissena Cycling Club cap
without a helmet
on a Brompton folding bike last serviced by Redbeard Bicycles
our club's lovely shop sponsor.
Random strangers
gave me unsolicited compliments
about the bike
at every 4th red light that I dutifully stopped at
between 59th Street and E Houston.
On the way
home I cat sixed an unsuspecting commuter on Northern Boulevard in Flushing
overtaking him at the Taco Bell
I used to eat at
as a teenager
in the '90s
which was
a long
time
ago.

Best post of the season so far.
Really we should have a plaque.
I found a badge that is perfect, and awarded it.

@David Yang

Fishing a bit here but we're going to be in NYC this October 16-20th and if anyone has place they're looking to airbnb (or know of a good one) pm me.
Team Van!

Who is in?!?

Current bid is $6500, guessing it'll sell for about twice that.

Damn it Eloy - you reintroduced me to BAT with your last post and now your just twisting the knife.

That's a beaut.

Ended up going for $37,000. Damn.
As I was finishing up today, a guy rolled up alongside me at the light on St. Nicholas and 145th.  He was on an e-fatbike.  He was talking about how heavy it was.

We both rolled off the light at the same time.  As it was downhill, I was chilling at about 23mph.  He passed me going at least 25.  I guess he has the kind that can do 45kph.

Sad cycling connection.  Steve Penny, former interim head of USA Gymnastics, used to be the head of USA Cycling.
