The club seems to get lots of inquiries about category five racing.  Specifically, how fast it is.  Since there was no category five when I started racing and even if there was, no one had the awesome bike computers we have today, I'm hoping people can help me gather distances, times, average speeds, and possibly average power in w/kg for the category five racing they've done this year.

A couple of us 5s are on Strava so you can troll through our feeds.  Clifford's is useful since he has power data as well.

i sent JP my data.  the numbers were such that i had to assure JP that they were mine and not, say, cancellara's.

i don't know how to send my data.  look at it on strava?  looking at the spring series 5 lap segment and dividing my weight by the power strava lists for that segment, it looks like 3.36 w/Kg.  i know, i know, you've had more powerful farts.  i believe it was LL Cool J who said: don't be a hata; i'm just handin' out data

be wary of strava's power estimations.  they are pretty much consistently off the mark.
