Wait, you mean to tell me I could have gotten all huggy with Jules? Damn. I miss out on all the Brooklyn fun.EmilyAtwater said:I second @Renat, good session this morning, and good camaraderie. Can hardly help it when you have your arms around each other, rolling along. I was a bit white-knuckled, but survived with the awesome guidance of Jules and Mike (and everyone else). Scary for a newbie, but I already feel a little more steady.
Related, I remember watching a video of last year's CycleSmart cross clinic lecture, where Myerson made a specific point of saying, if you want to get better in the mud, you have to practice in the mud. He then went on to say, "sure you have to wash your bike but what's the big deal?" Clearly, he's never lived in an NYC apartment...eragot said:CX handling drills today!
If you live in NYC: You don't take your muddy bicycle inside. You take it to the car wash.Marc Bertucco said:Related, I remember watching a video of last year's CycleSmart cross clinic lecture, where Myerson made a specific point of saying, if you want to get better in the mud, you have to practice in the mud.
