Sorry I missed it. Made up my missed AM workout when I got home late Tuesday night, and then couldn't get to sleep until 1:30. My alarm was set to Sarcastic this morning and it followed through with that perfectly. Lesson learned.
The consensus was that early mornings were the best time. We can always coordinate between ourselves in a different ride/race set up by someone else.
Seriously I needed the extra sleep this morn. I was literally in my bibs standing in front of the bike ready to go but my eyes wouldn't stay open.
FYI I'm going to be doing the Queen's CX race on Saturday so will start the zwift race but only for the 5 min neutral rollout and a truncated light spin.
I'm probably going to get in a few minutes tonight around 830p if anyone wants to spin around a little bit.
Also tomorrow morning's weekly ride at 5:45a is still on. Think it'll be a sweet spot to threshold session. As the year progresses I'll probably move on to intervals.
is it possible to do a Zwift workout while doing a group ride or are the two incompatible? i mean a built in Zwift workout (obviously I can just ride whatever pace is consistent with my workout...i'm talking erg mode and workout while riding "with a group")
give it a shot, perhaps they've change it. otherwise, pretty sure it doesn't work -- the person doing the workout will have drafting in the game disabled.
BTW, as some extra incentive Zwift is having a random drawing promotion for anyone that completes a qualified event (one of which is the KCC training race tomorrow!):
Start the New Year right! As a little extra incentive to push those pedals, Zwift has teamed up with our friends at Wahoo to offer one lucky Zwifter a new Wahoo KICKR SNAP smart trainer. All you have to do is finish one of the Zwift in the New Year rides today to be entered into the random drawing to win.
