I just want the green Castelli Jersey
Jules you are mistaking me for Chris Yackity sax.
So basically a 30 minute warmup and then thermonuclear meltdown...?
Anybody know or care how to set up a group voice call? Zoom has a 40 minute limit.

Does our slack support a call?
We could Google Hangouts it

Just to confirm, race is at 10?
I"m signed up for the A field.  As I've never Zwifted before and only have rollers, just starting will be plenty.  Probably got to start setting up around 8:30.
JP without some sort of resistance on those rollers giving you a way to generate higher watts you may have trouble.
I’ve never tried a Zwift race. I’m either going to have fun, get my ass kicked, or both.

Bring it on
plenty of us already pedaling warning up 10 minutes to go. gonna be hard, please don’t hold it against me if i’m drop

why is my companion app having so much troubel?
i'm in the B race. Scared
Let’s get it guys! (Remember races start all out and fast)
So much for technology... I couldn’t join
same.. though likely my own errors.
will figure it out before the next race.

Holy crap that was legit fun. Was seeing spots the last 5km. Chapeau to the KCC boy (s?) in the money Matt B and...?

”after” view...

Super fun race! @RobertMullen was hauling ass on the front and @Jules @eloy and @TommyYork were doing work in the group. Rob and I made the front split on the last little riser, he kept the pace crazy high, I launched my sprint with 600ish feet to go and the guy who won came around me with like 50 feet to the line
Matt killing these virtual races!! 4 of us in the top 10!
I died 5 mins in, TT'd my way to the finish. Ended up tailgunning it in Ragot and Volbach's group the last mile or so.

Guess I need to ride muh bike more.
I got dropped from the B group and rode with Yaks and some A racers for a while until dropped from them. wow.

How do you see the results? I'm new to Zwift.
@Jeff Condon download companion app and go to your activities. Should be able to see results (bro).
That was super fun! And terrible! I was surprised at how I was able to kinda get into a racing headspace. I was surprised by how much it felt like racing, once you get over the fact that you're inside and not moving anywhere lol.

That was a lot of fun, and really hard. I was quite distressed at how hard it started and you can't really hide in the pack. Yang hollered something about exploding but then I still saw him in the front pack for a while.

The last five km I was legit seeing spots - that was the hardest I've gone this year. I was hoping to take a flyer at 1km to go but it strung out at 2km to go and I was taken off guard.

mega hurty sprint to stay in the top 10. Very happy nobody could see my gruesome form for that!

I didn't make it off the start line.

Setup was really easy. I synced my Quarq to the computer no problem.

Riding is when the problems started.  My computer or the program seemed to pick up the pwoermeter signal and then would drop it.  and then pick it up again.  and again drop it.  It was like 10s on 20s off or something.  Until my computer couldn't pick up the signal at all.  I disconnected, reconnected and the problem persisted.  then the race began.

For those wondering, I do have Kreitlers and a headwind unit and it can generate massive resistance.  The way I have it set up, I generate over 300w at about 20mph.

For those of us who couldn't play along, how much strategy is involved.   It looks like Jeff Condon rode harder (in w/kg) than Matt B but was way behind him.
I thought I was going to die in that. Cracked with about 1200m left. Some strong dudes in that.
