Will anyone be doing these?

I am deciding soon if I am going to end the road season with the race I had last week, or continue with these. The only goal I got for this is to scrap up some points, since last week I got 6 from the second place finish. Not sure if its feasible for me to get 14 points from these races though.

@cpulvidente I wanna do couple of em but they're far, I might do the free ride from Alex If he continues to do em. I'll do day of not pay for the whole series.

I'm signed up for the 4/5 on September 7th

Just signed up for the 4/5 on 9/7 as well. 

I’m also signed up for the C4/5 this coming Saturday. I could fit one other bike on my car, and can therefore drive the owner of said bike! I’m in Williamsburg.

I have one spot left in my car too (I'm in Downtown Brooklyn). Unfortunately, I'm seeing a friend after the race so I won't be driving back to Brooklyn until later that night

Still trying to decide if I will race. Currently Hurricane Dorian is going to destroy the Rockaways and the swell is going to hit on Saturday. The prime time of the storm is going to be midday so unless things change and I can surf early morning for some dawnies, I will be a no go on this one.

I will be officiating or something at a bunch of the Merrick events. Better be nice to me  .

Btw- no KCC shorts for me as sizing is different to any others I have and L is like a pair of MC Hammer pants...

Thanks, @JohnMalcolmson, although it was 2nd in green jersey and ~10-15th overall I’m guessing. Race was consistently pretty fast with a number of attacks and not a lot of let up over the course of the race. Great course though (in my humble opinion - it felt like NASCAR on bikes, but that may be a function of it being only my 2nd crit - first being Grant’s Tomb in march where I was riding unattached to any team- format is addictive!).
Myself and one other guy (guy in orange on the podium), made a very aggressive push on the first prime lap; I had decided that was worth a go to get in mix for green cause I am not confident I have the race-craft to win anything overall at end. There seemed to be a bit of effort to get after us but for first time in my life I think I made a good tactical decision and managed to make a real jump that was hard to follow. The two of us plus one other guy (who had gone way way to early, who we passed) gapped the field by close to half a lap. Then (based on my limited but evolving knowledge of the rules), I was just focused on not letting anyone get away on 2nd prime lap and at least being in mix for final sprint. In case of latter, I was well positioned coming into final corner (felt like 5th-7th wheel), then overshot my turn to the point where I almost ate the kerb before recovering and landing probably in the teens.
I know that was @Matt Budofsky’s last C5 race so he was most focused on finishing for the upgrade. My sense was he maybe got unlucky on positioning, got a little gapped part way through and was burning a crazy amount of matches to catch up after each corner before elastic inevitably snapped. I’ll let him speak for himself though.
@AndrewJohnson, who was officiating, may have a completely different take on the race and of course has a hundred times more experience than me!

Pretty much what Muzza said for me. I took a poor line through the first couple corners and ended up towards the back, and then from there on by the time I was through the corner, the front of the race was sprinting out of it. I’d sprint to catch back on but somewhere around the 13 or 14th lap, the headwind on the finishing straight got the best of me and I didn’t any juice left. Wish my last race of the season went better but these things happen (this being only my second Crit, I’ve got plenty to learn as far as positioning and tactics)- at least it was a nice day out

@Muzzabiker unfortunately being my second critic officiating, Grant's Tomb being the first, your race was the most confusing one. By the time the 1/2/3 got going I finally figured out the camera settings to get accurate finish line video, which helped tremendously. The colors of the numbers was terrible the orange/blue was impossible to see the numbers, by hand, and camera. We spoke to the RD about it, the bottom line if we can't see the numbers, you guys can't get scored, plain and simple. That also goes for the pinning of the number. All the way up your back doesn't help and all the way down on your belly is also no bueno... Just saying... Good job you guys ( @Matt Budofsky ) for coming out and racing. Glad to see my Kissena Teammates mixing it up out there.

@Muzzabiker. Finished third in the omnium on Sunday for the Men Cat 4. First place was not my goal. My goal was to beat John Hale and I did in all three races. He finished in 4th, which means it's impossible for him to catch me in the overall standings, which also means I won the overall Men Cat 4 Series. I'm expecting a Leaders Jersey sometime in the near future. I raced very smart and clinically to ensure my position. In the third race I allowed myself to have a bit of fun. I think that was a good way to finish the track season with a good day at the track.
