It should impact braking power, which then impacts traction.

Let's start with the likelihood that Mohoric is used to riding with 160/140mm rotors.  He's familiar with how hard he has to squeeze the brake levers to get X stopping power.  

So, with larger rotors, the leverage point moves out by 10mm, an increase of 14%.  Thus he should get more stopping power, if all other things are equal (pads, rotor material) for the same amount of squeezing force.  

It's possible that he squeezed as hard as he might have with the smaller rotors, as hard as he thought he could squeeze before losing traction. But that squeeze resulted in more stopping force on the rotor, thus overwhelming traction.

I guess it's a testament to my age that I'm surprised Sagan is now 100:1 odds for this. Seems like yesterday he was on every podium.

I thought he'd find some form for what's supposed to be his last year, but so far, so anonymous.  

Been wondering if it's the doping, if the training has changed, or if he doesn't have the drive.  Love to know how or if his power numbers have stayed the same, gone up or down.

I’m curious too. Seems like a combination of things. Also seems like he just never quite got back to the level needed to contest with the current crop of sprinters/classics men since his multiple COVID diagnoses (I think he got Covid the first time in 2020 pre vaccine, but not entirely remembering)

I think the quote below ,from 2021,says more about his early season preparation and maybe explains why he hasn't won anything for a while 

  "The Slovakian was allegedly drunk and accompanied by his brother in the city when he was stopped by the authorities at around 12.30am last April.
