totally random but...

Does anyone have any sort of air filter / purifier they'd care to lend or rent out to us? Basically I'm looking for sometime I could use for a few weeks to help get the last bits of dust out of the air after our renovations.

Posted this before but bumping before it goes up on the eBay...

Powertap HED Belgium C2s

These wheels are a Powertap package I had made by Wheelbuilder in 2011.

Some specs:

Rear wheel: Shimano/Sram, HED rims, 24 DT spokes, brass nipples, laced to a PowerTap Pro+

The front wheel is a DT 240s hub, 24 DT spokes, alloy nipples.

They come with a wheel cover that allows you to turn the rear wheel into a makeshift TT disc. It's pretty cool.

I got these in the winter of 2011, so they've been ridden a good 12-13k miles. However, the Powertap wheel is almost NEW, because its just been totally rebuilt after a bent rim and broken spoke took it out. The only things used on it will the the Powertap, which works perfectly and the cassette body, which is knicked up, but cassettes still come on and off fine.

This same build on Wheelbuilder right now would be more then $1,500 without the custom wheel cover.

This is an awesome set for someone wanting their first intro to training with power. Since the PowerTap wheel is almost new, asking $1,000.

Here's a link to the Craigslist ad with photos. The price on CL is higher than the one I'm posting here, just cuz people like to haggle.

If anyone is in the market, I have some Shimano cranks for sale.  Parts/cranks either new or very low mileage.

Would be happy to give a Kissena bro a good deal.

I am looking for a beater rear wheel.  Basically, I want to install my worn out tyres and abuse the thing over the Winter on my turbo.  Needs to have a Shimano 10-speed compatible freehub body.

Anyone got any old wheels lying around suitable for this purpose?
Adam:  32 h mavic open pro laced to shimano ultegra 6700 free hub. Excellent condition, round, true, can be beaten to death. You've seen me race on it. Matta'fact, you've seen me break away from you on it! warrghhh!

Ragot, were you messing with me about the compressor?

You think I have time for that?

I don't remember this? Are you referring to the time in the Catskills where you raced me without telling me or the hill repeats we do where you slipstream me for the majority of the ascent then 'come round' in the final meters?

Looking for something very cheap in terms of wheels. $20-40.

No ... The floyd crit we did in April. http://www.usacycling.org/results/?year=2012&id=752&info_id=46904 When hills are involved, you know I must resort to some antics :)
Ha. I'm sticking to my excuse of brake-rub in that race. That's what I have decided.
My brakes were rubbing in that race too Adam....still I made the break with Christian. It's a poor craftsman who blames his tools hoss.
Selling my low-profile china carbon tubular wheels. 20mm deep rims, laced 24/24 to novatec hubs.

Two almost-new glued Vittoria Corsa EVO-CX tubulars included, though you might want to reglue.

Excellent condition - less than 200 miles of use.  Good climbing wheels - they felt terrific at Tokeneke and Pawling last year, and I set my all-time pre-repaved Alpine record on them.

Rear arrived a bit out of true, but not enough for me to ever bother fixing it.

$350imageimageimage
Wide-rim campy clincher wheelset:

Velocity A23's laced 28/32 with DT Swiss 2x butted spokes to silver Velocity Road hubs with matching skewers. Built by Mark Purdy at Ifixbyx.

Very little use: >300 miles.

$260image

Anybody have or know of an affordable 56 cm track bike, new or used? By affordable, I mean under 1k.
I'm coming back to NYC in late October for a visit, and I think I'll be picking one up and shipping it back to Geneva (there's an indoor wood velodrome 1k from my doorstep).

You could probably get a bunch of nice lightly used bikes for 1K. A brand new specialized langster pro full bike costs about 1600 . The "langster" (not pro) has msrp of 720 (and is drilled for a brake, bonus for non track days) - however it has a more upright geometry .

I think other brands follow similar price points. If you post in the "Kissena Velodrome" facebook group you may get some suggestions or some sale offerings.

@nathaniel miller

I'd sell my trek t1 for $400 to a teammate. 55.4 or so top tube, it's a complete. Lots of nyc street cred stickers to scare pansy euros. This bike, but with the stock clinchers.

Mattie -What is this field stuff ?  track bikes belong indoors, surrounded by banked wood. Are those trees a future velodrome you are working on ?

:)
If you build it... they will hand-sling :)
Hey, Mattie, I'll take it! I'll email you later for more details. And, thanks!

I'm looking for a SRAM double-tap right (rear) brifter. Rival, used but working order is my preference.
