We've identified his super power. Let him go really long. Give him a leadout with 1200 meters to go, pull over at 900m, and he should be able to do the rest.
So this means we're dropping Malcolmson off at the entrance to the parking lot and leaving it up to him to finish the race by leaving everybody else in the dust?
It's true I don't have quite as much snap as says Hudson's Misha, but can hold high numbers for a good while. Maybe Yacks rides my wheel and I can take a stab at going long... If someone get's on the train it's up to Yacks to take them out or just let me roll off the front? I need a wingman... Talk to me Goose!
@ White — Muffins for the people! (etc). Perhaps we should investigate a sponsorship deal from Blue Sky? That way we could spend our hard earned AVD $2 profit on a spoke or a Gu gel, split 12 ways of course.
Carey, I'm going to try to make it, though I've got a new bike that might need to be adjusted in a few ways. Sorry I can't commit. But I'll definitely be back next Friday.
On the good side, I'm back, have a working bike, and am feeling ever better.
On the bad, I have a good friend now living out of town, who might be able to ride tomorrow. I hate to take him before you all, but...our old riding dates were so special and all.
So I can't make any promises this time. But expect to be much more regular in the future.
JP, nice 2C U R in mix again...keep it 'mostly social,' am in SC/NC for next couple weeks to prepare &ride-race(lowest time) the Assault on Mt Mitchell, 21may...B there when am back in town! -h;>
WOOT! I got Jules to send me his #'s after our ride on Tuesday, but I'm not sure what we were doing up Bradley. I think it was 400+ for a while. Watts smaattzzzz.
