Unbelievable stage yesterday 

I had anxiety watching that ending - it's such a different mindset from watching the basketball playoffs where there are two opposing sides and a finite, controlled environment. Bike racing has all these little other pockets of tactics and drama and games of chicken and ways to leverage a whole slew of other teams and riders tide or against yourself and your enemies and your enemies' enemies.

Man I was screaming at the TV, but Chapeau to Simon (6.2 w/kg for 58 minutes up the Finestre).  Really can't believe the Del Toro tactics, and at a certain point Carapaz as well. He was complaining after, but at some point he should have known its time to go or bust, he at least has the experience.  

Oh to be a fly on the wall in the UAE or EF team car after...

Great day of racing though, probably one of the most exciting stages I've ever watched

I don't get the value of "pulling" at 10% gradients, but it made for a fantastic stage/story/race.

There’s a draft advantage from about 19kmph, I guess they reach that?

I'm watching today's stage 7 of The Giro Donna/ Giro Rosa, and posting here just to say that it is seriously worth checking, and maybe about infinite times better than today's TDF's flat sprint stage.
