Yeah, 3 easy left turns.
Doesn't look too bad.
and we race @ 2PM - so if weather forecasts that far out are even remotely close it should be drying up.

My comments.
with 7 of 26 riders it would embarrassing not to win.
me Mike Vlad Rene wdc Mueller Malcolmson
Plan let someone else attack early and we'll cover. Everyone covers and if a break looks good I'll bridge to it. End game plan is to lead out Rene and I for the win if a break doesn't work.

More to come...family...
Here is how it went down.

Joe covered the move off the gun by the series leader.

William covered the next move and had a nice gap but too many people were in his group and they kinda slowed up. I attack through them on the 2nd lap and brought Zeb (former Kissena) with me. We worked together, but Ross (Speedwell) and some Liberty Cycles guy were chasing. I was feeling pretty gassed and wanted the help so I slowed my roll a bit. I was hoping there would be a kissena with them but there wasn't. They were pushing hard and were really worried about our gap. I wasn't worried at all.

We worked pretty well together. I skipped more pulls than anyone, but I had that luxury because I knew Eric or someone would be in the chase group right behind us. I also tried to take my pulls on the downhill where I could be doing 250 watts and folks wouldn't notice I was taking it easy.

Our gap got as big as 30 seconds and towards the end the chase brought it as close as 12. The others in the group were freaking out a bit which gave me breathing room.

Ross started to attack before the final turn. I kept at the back of the group of 4. Coming into the final turn I was positioned last wheel. It opened up 4 wide and I sprinted hard. It took a long long time but I came around with maybe 10 yards to go before the finish.

Behind, Ragot blasted by for the sprint from the chase group.

Fun racing. I'm excited to place for the first time ever in a cat 3 race, and my first place as a 3 not in prospect or FBF. Yay.
