Hey @Floris check out the Farewell thread - you won't be the first to venture outside of Brooklyn for parts unknown and you won't be forgotten :)

@Floris - good luck in London! I rode there for a while. Richmond Park is nice (although 20mph speed limit!), and the South Downs are really nice once you get out in the (about 40mins from south London), esp if you like hills. Surrey is great too, but like any big city, it's just a pain getting to the nicer roads. There are a ton of clubs - they tend to be based on where you end up living. I lived in south London and Dulwich Paragon always seemed like a nice club, as does VC St Raphael (though they're based more outside of the city). I was riding for a team in Ireland so no first hand experience of the clubs. Make sure you check out Herne Hill velodrome (recently renovated) and the Olympic velodrome out in Stratford! I know a few guys who know the London scene a lot better than me, PM me if you want me to reach out to them on your behalf.
Hey Floris, take care.  It was good riding with you, and I'm sorry to hear you're going to have fenders on your bike all the time, but accessories is what we're really all about.  Am I the lone van around here now?

Really, a farewell thread?  This forum has everything!
Bye Floris. Just getting to know you. Good luck.

Floris! You were one of a select group of dudes who came to EVERY workshop I held. That makes us folks pretending to be teachers happy. Good luck to you!
Thanks, guys! Looking back I wished I discovered Kissena sooner; but doing the spring season with you was great. I'm in NY for another week and try to do a couple of CP trainings and grouprides. Afterwards, I'm getting married, honeymoon and then off to London!

All the best

Floris
Goodbye and good luck, Floris!  It was good to begin/restart our racing careers together.  Hard to forget Grant's Tomb!
Floris is taking off tomorrow. Good luck on the honeymoon Floris! Bon voyage.
Bon Voyage Floris!
Congratulations Floris!  And good luck in London.  It was great to ride with you (a couple of times) in Central Park.
Hey guys, name's Javier. Was at the intro ride last Saturday at Prospect Park, and riding with the club really got me interested in racing and group riding.
Never raced before, but have done a couple of triathlons before. The cycling leg has always been my favorite part of the races (there's something about passing people on the bike). Nonetheless, looking forward to riding with you guys, racing and meeting new people!
Welcome aboard @Javier!
Hey @Javier, welcome to the club.  Hope to see you out there soon!
@Javier
Welcome to the club. See you out there on the group rides or at the races. Happy 4th of July!
Welcome @Javier!
Welcome, Javier.  There are plenty of races coming up, and this is a great group to race with.
Right on @Javier-- welcome!
Javier Lee  - welcome ! It was good meeting you on Saturday.
Welcome @Javier-- see you on the road!

Welcome to the club Javier, see in the park and/or on one of our weekend rides!

Hi @Ingrid...welcome to the club!!
Hi, Ingrid!!! Welcome! So nice to have a few more X chromosomes in here. Let's go ride!
The forum has been pretty quiet lately...

NOT!  :P
Hi Ingrid. Welcome aboard.
Hello and welcome, all!
Hello @brendan.

Anyone know what happened to the woman who rode with us one Sunday last year? I think she was from the west coast? Collegiate racer? She was strong and didn't seem to be scared by our smelly boy smells.
Great riding with you this week, @Ingrid! See you again soon!
Welcome Ingrid and Javier.

@Marc - that was Kim W and she did some rides and Ragot's cornering clinic last year. She was in the Coast Guard so maybe she was redeployed?
