My name is Gui Weinmann, I started riding as a teenager all around Philly. Fast forward 20 years, I realized that bike racing is a good way to keep the serotonin levels normal, in other words it keeps me sane. My first race-worthy bike as an adult was a fixed gear track bike from craigslist. I  racing at the velodrome in Queens. So I'm going to keep a running tally of members who have updated their account information. Bonjourno!

William Here.

My interests include derailleurs, kittens and red, white & blue cans.

I started riding in college and joined Kissena at the end of the 2007 season.

I'm 27 years old, race as a cat 3 on the road, and am currently in business school.

I used to hate our uniforms, but when I realized they were NYC colors, I started loving them!
Nice bike WDC. Now race it more!
Aloha! This is Michelle. Started riding for fun in college, and picked up racing road, track, and cyclocross in NYC to get out of the city. Favorite bike moments:
· Attacking at T-town
· Captaining a 6-person bike up a famous SF area climb
· Granogue CX 2009
· Working in the group of 4s that stayed away at the Floyd handicap race this spring

Don't eat peanut butter sandwiches before doing Eric's sprint workouts.
Hi guys - I'm Emily.

I have ridden bikes my whole life and did my first century with my mom at 11. This is my first year racing, and I joined Kissena at the start of CX season.

I'm thrilled that we now have this forum.
I had little patience for searching through the Yahoo group.

Even if I don't do all that well in my own races, I am always there to help out a teammate.

Em: I'm looking forward to a beer hand-up next season!
of course - that's what I'm here for!

I also excell at pinning numbers, giving high fives, smiling while racing, ringing cowbells, and trash talking.
hey.
this is mattio.
i live in minneapolis now, but all my friends are on kissena. here's a picture of me and Ryan Johnston at Floyd Bennet Field.

My name is ChrisBloome. I used to live in florida, and now i live here. I raced bikes (poorly) in college, and in 2010 I will have something like 50 race days between cyclocross/track/road/goldsprints/alleycats/...

Hello All,

Lenny Katz here. I've been on Kissena for a # of years now (8?). I like to race bikes. What a strange thing to read on the Kissena Cycling forum!! I like to do other things too but we'll save that for another time. Just wanted to say hello on the new forum. Here' s a picture of me from Cedar Creek this past spring. It's a great crit for those that haven't raced it. Check it out next year!
yeah lenny!

that's Mr. Katz giving "Cupcake" (aka Andrew LaCorte) a whuppin'

i should have been a weiner and taken issue with Cupcake wearing his Track National Champion jersey at a criterium

didn't matter - he ain't much on the road!
Why aren't you wearing gloves???
Looks more pro without. (Actually I forgot them.)
Hello -

Eric Robertson here. This is a picture of me at Beacon. Great course!
Hi Kissena. My name's Rich Henning. I've enjoyed riding and tinkering with bicycles since my youth, but am a noob to both racing and the club as of May 2010. Attached is a pic of me on the run-up @ Staten CX.
Howdy,

Dan Reiners here, 2011 will be my 3rd year with Kissena. I love to race cross and I am a little sad my season is over. I am looking forward to some long team rides this winter, and a kick @$$ 2011 season with Kissena!
Hello,
I'm Bill, looking forward to my 3rd season with Kissena, road and track. Born in Cville, VA, lived in Nashville, Boston, Chicago, in Park Slope for about 8 yrs, jazz musician with a day job, full of babble.....
Howdy,

I'm Jim. Just about to complete a second cross season on Kissena with a road season sandwiched in between. Looking forward to many more miles in the orange and blue.

Here I am at Whirlybird leaping o so gracefully over the barriers.
mattie, not mattio, davitt.

just wrapped up my 2nd season of racing, live in the suburbs, work at piermont bike. will probably be focusing on track this upcoming season. working weekends at the shop is a buzzkill for the big roadraces. 4 on the road/track/cx
