Good pukey ride with JP on the inner roads of NJ. I couldn't dish it out like the past few rides we did together, but I almost puked once, so it was good for me!

There's still snow in Bergen and Rockland. In the shady spots on the bigger hills, there was an inch or two remaining and there was clearly remnants of plowing. On the fallen tree/downed power line contest, the damage is everywhere and apparent The light at the intersection of E. Clinton and Engle in Tenafly (it's the turn after the downhill on the sunday ride) was out, and there were hastily implanted stop signs all four ways. Lots of power lines on the ground, particularly in the northern reaches. Several trees were still in the ground, but hanging precipitously over the road. We rode through several closed roads, but Marc cautioned me away from the one where we could see a power line holding up a tree.

because yeah...even though a little "electrolysis" would make me smooth enough to be the main attraction at next year's Halloween party in the Village, I don't think the memory loss, uncontrollable ticks and inability to form complete sentences would have been worth it.

i caught tito in nyack and rode the 5 minutes or so with him to his internship, then just dicked around for 2.5 hours. good way to spend a wednesday, no complaints here.
