I see a lot of talk on this forum about this Saturday's Branchbrook race, but the bikereg.com page says only @RileyHoonan and @Phil Maronilla have registered for Cat 4/5 races. I just registered for Cat 4/5 Race #2. Pre-registration closes in ten hours. Who else is in? The more Kissenas that race, the more people we can commiserate with about the sub-freezing air temperature.

Oh, I missed @EduardSpektor, who has registered for 4/5 Race #2. My apologies.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing both. 

I just registered for race #2. Peer pressure and commitment through pre-registering work wonders on me. 

Know what else is a thing? Hype. Also, the experience of opening the bikereg.com page, looking at the weather forecast, imagining how cold and dark it will be, remembering how disgraceful it is that you can't use your unlimited MetroCard on the PATH train, going back to bikereg.com to see who else is registered, seeing your teammates' names, and feeling like you've got an expectation to live up to. The merely human among us might could use a little arm-twisting. 

I can drive two people from Brooklyn or along Canal Street (weather permitting). Who's in?

No results but a good contingent of new kissena racers and a solid race for all. Condon and I got 10th in our respective first races. 35+ Condon got 12th. If White and I can work on a leadout for Condon we might do alright. 

Awesome stuff...yangs if u could just close that gap we could sprint repeats together...
