"Hello, dum dum"

Whoa!

Is that Peter Sagan?!?
@Yacks
Dundee is not one to tread carefully, he knows all about your forging hijinks;

Forked Tongues
The story goes that Yacks broke his forks on the descent of the Tourmalet and then made his way downhill to a blacksmith in the village of St Marie de Campan where he repaired the forks. Riders had no mechanical support and the rules stipulated they could not receive outside assistance. Only in the forge the blacksmith’s boy was operating the bellows and a zealous official penalized Yacks and he lost the race.

The old blacksmiths, look closely for the plaque on the wall

However, the reality is different. Yacks was docked three minutes for this extra help, a blink of an eyelid in the days when the margin of victory in the Tour was huge; he lost the Tour for other reasons. Instead Yacks was sponsored by a bike manufacturer and having broken his forks, tried to find a small path to descend the Tourmalet where he could hide the mechanical failure from the press pack, in case news of his unreliable bike leaked out. This sneaky detour, to protect a commercial interest, cost him far more than the three minute penalty.

I just downloaded my data from Saturday's triangle ride...I am getting dangerously close to the magic # of 1.21 gigawatts.  The moment I do, I will travel back in time to the year 1985 and kick Johnny Malc's right in his junk.  I figure in 85 he would be the same age I am now, so it would be a fair fight.  Don't feel too bad for the croc hunter...his wife is still a hottie...Yack-fu

Oh...while I'm in 1985, I will mail a letter to a 14 year old Lance Armstrong alerting him to the dangers of PED's and that if he takes them they will destroy him.  I don't know the repercussions of this as I fear the butterfly effect could lead to a shift in the paradigm of clean sport, clean conscience and clean living...yacks

Mattio just wrote this to me:

"cantilevers aren't for stopping, they're for warning the person in front of you that they're about to get hit from behind."

http://blog.oftcc.net/post/39219681688/the-bicycle-barometer-takes-data-about-the

"The bicycle barometer takes data about the weather, the status of the tube lines I use to get to work, and whether my local station is open or shut.
It then reduces all that data down to a single value and displays it on a dial with a bike sign at one end and a tube sign at the other."

Any word on the Spring Series???

I'm trying to figure out my March work schedule and it would help to know when AVD is going to have his wonky series.
