I'm Cummings for you Max T!
Drat , thought I was the only one with Cummings ,
Morkov abandoned today. somehow 4 mountains in one day was too much for the broken Dane.

Also I am regretting Pinot who is shockingly disappointing. 1 point so far. Next great French hope my ass.
Quantana reaching for a bottle as Froome attacks = awesome....when he went for the KOM points he was really hoodwinking everyone and it worked....perfectly
I don't understand how Froome went so long riding on the top tube. It was like 10 minutes where he didn't look at his stem. How did he know it was still there?
Cap'n Dan, seriously, how do I replace Morkov from Orkov?
That was impressive from Froome and really spoiled my Saturday, I cant believe it wasn't premeditated
Absolutely it was premeditated. Froome shits on schedule. I bet he pre-rode that descent more than once. But it seemed like a risky venture for so little gain. I know that every second counts but one overcooked corner could have cost him a lot more.

The pedaling while sitting on the top tube was both impressive and hilarious. I would hate to hit a little pothole in that position.
Yeah agreed defo thought he road descent multiple times , and thought that it was a point to prove " Froome is a poor descender" chatter that you read ,
i think the main reason I can't stand him , is because he makes the most beautiful sport look ugly
COSTA !!!!!!  come on Whee Man  PEDAL !!!!!!!
WTF  I get 1st and 2nd place and I'm still not top
I hate Sagan and his greasy hair ,
Thank you ITT, I'm now 2 steps above last place!
Nicely done Mark.
Yes ,thought Sagan was going to spoil it for me

You create a team of 12 and get 24 transfers only total to make before races as you see fit.

11 races so 'em count.

good luck
Damn, I couldn't get time last night to pick. Still going to participate but no MSR points for me.
MSR had an awesome finale...Sagan's such a beast and a classy sportsman.  Soo much panache that the French are going to have come up with an another adjective as Sagan has made it almost seem trite
With Fabio Felline and Tiejs Benoot, I'm liking Da Squad's chances at a podium in DDV. Outside of the artificial scarcity of fantasy cycling, I'd want to take the line wearing the same jersey as Terpstra or Vanmarcke. Who's your tip for tomorrow's cobble kickoff?
Gilbert has animated this entire race...and I transferred him off my team yesterday for Jasper Stuyven. Regrets! I considered him past his prime and useful to QuickStep in the cobbled races mostly as decoy who could take a win but only if the races break just so. Brilliant tactical riding by "the New York Yankees of bike racing" to get the most out of their deep well of talent.
@jim_nelson jumps into second place with the entire Paris-Roubaix podium on his team! Nice picks.
I know and two more in the top 10. He got 7th overall in the race out of 4800+
Fantasy Giro anyone? Need to get picks in today!
i'm game but very green to fantasy. will someone tell me what to do? also if anyone knows who is going to win, send me a private message.
I'm in!

@Will Kalbacker Chris Froome will win the Giro.

No, but seriously, fantasy cycling is fun and only as complicated or demanding as you want to make it. We play at velogames.com. The idea is this: You are a directeur sportif with the task of building a squad of nine riders, selected from the entire peloton. Your riders earn points based on their performance throughout the three-week tour. The fantasy team with points at the end of the Giro wins. Check out the rules of the competition here and then read up on the scoring system, which allots points for stage placing, the daily GC, Sprint and KOM competitions, and the overall results.

The central strategic problem is that that each fantasy player is given 100 credits with which to buy their riders, and different riders cost different amounts. So do you build your squad around a safe favorite like Nairo Quintana (who costs 26 credits, the most of any rider), but take on the risk that if he underperforms, your team probably sucks? Or do you spread your risk around by selecting a few less-expensive podium outsiders, then adding stage hunters, breakaway artists, and riders who might win one of the jersey competitions? If you need help getting oriented, watch GCN's Giro d'Italia Preview show, as well as their "8 Outsiders to Watch For in the Giro" video. Then use your research, the incentives created by the scoring system, and rider cost to go about trying to get the highest return for your investment.
