We doing fantasy TDF?
https://www.velogames.com/
I made a league

League Name: KCC-TdF-2025
League Code: 662405312
We already have a league I thought
Let's sort it out; not much time left!
Enter a team , I joined both leagues
This is OG league , League Name: KISSENA2024
League Code: 284461711

Blakes league is the OneCycling fantasy league
The Pogotachas are in.
Can't believe everyone slept on Girmay. Cork vulnerability notwithstanding...
Slept on him , i think people looked at form , No ?
Possibly, or his team overall. They were pretty well organized from 10k to 3k to go then it all went pear shaped for him. Lidl/Trek are so impressive staying together in the finales.

For what😁 kind of like having 80% possession and loosing 1-0

Hey where is all the trash talk? Don't tell me that everyone is convinced that Wheel Suckaz is going to win this thing.

Here is a Velogames Fantasy Team rundown while we get into the last week of racing. Less than 400 points separate 1st from 3rd. This might be more interesting than the actual GC of the Tour this year.

I intended to do this during the first rest day, but no time like the present.

First off, 5 (out of 8) picked Pog. Five picked Jonas, and two picked Remco. Four picked van den Poel.

Who is in the lead and why?

Wheel Suckaz (Jeff) is currently in the lead by less than 200 points. A lot of points come from Pog, Vauquelin, and MVdP. His Remco won’t get him any more points and not sure that Merlier will gain any more points. Alaphilipe has been good for some points but still hasn’t won a stage (even though he thought otherwise). Navarez and Sweeney are solid helpers. Buitrago may get his chance in the third week.

Grosse Belle Band (Kevin) went heavy on sprinters and will have the eventual green jersey winner. In addition to Pog, Milan and MVdP, he got points with Merlier. He has both the Paret-Pientre siblings. Lipowitz and Abrahamsen have been strong picks. Amiral could shine this week

The Pogotchas (Greg) rounds out the current podium but is snapping at their heals. In addition to Pog he picked Jorgenson. He lost Bissinger on the first day and his picks of Cort and (CX superstar) Nys were original but haven't panned out. He has more than made up for it with his inspired picks of Healy, MvDP and Milan.

Blazing Saddles (Patrick) skipped Pog and went with “I don’t give a fuck” Roglic instead. For real. Although the Jonas and Jorgensen duo have been the better bet. Patrick (me!) has gotten points with Captain America (Simmons), polka dot hopeful (unless Pog has his way) Martinez, MvDP, and Milan. Champousin and Laurence have been underpreformers.

What a bike race (Blake) also went with the Jonas and Jorgenson duo. Also with Martinez and Milan (brilliant minds think alike?). Blake lost Ganna on day 1 and Skelmose this weekend, but has strong week three contenders in Powless, Vauquelin, and Abrahamson.

Zenith City Rollers (Jules) is the only competitor to have both Pog and Jonas. He held on to his Canadian roots and went with Woods for a week 3 win. Jules also bet on Girmay finding his form from last year which hasn’t happened yet.  Jules also has Nys, Swift, and Van LerBerghe.  O’Connor and Powless should be good bets for week 3 results.

Rabbit of Caerbannog (Jess) buttressed his Pog team with Belgians (Remco, Merlier, Nys) and Frenchmen (Alaphilipe, APP, Amiral and Gregoire). The French contingent can still shine brightly this week.

Finally, Jonasgood (Mark) picked an all United Kingdom team that nominated honorary UK citizenship to Jonas. Not only can Mark call himself an Onley fan, but he gets G Thomas on his last hurrah and doesn’t have to pick his favorite Yates twin because he has both. He also has picked up points with Stewart, Blackmore, Wright and Watson. Mark might have the fewest points, but his team has impeccable table manners

Good luck to the competitors over the next week. Someone should tell Jeff that the winner of the Velogames completion has to buy everyone coffees at Burberry next week ;-). (Edit: that was supposed to be Bunberry, but Burberry sounds like $$$)

I'm sure coffee at Burberry is very expensive  =)
I also failed to take in to consideration how British people love a queue , " after you Pog"
The podium is getting tight with Kevin, myself, and Jeff only separated by less than 200 points!

I'm hoping O'Connor has another good day in the mountains so I can jump into the lead.
Congrats to Kevin for the fantasy win!

Incredible that Pog got over 4000 points. I’ve been playing this game for years and don’t recall anyone getting so many points.

The fantasy podium all had him.
Woop! I knew one of the Paret-Peintre’s was good*, not sure which one so I put in both! Also surprised Lipowitz wasn’t in more people’s team.

As a man of the people I’d like to donate all my winnings back to the club to put towards the summer picnic/any other activities.

* (edit) Acknowledging that they are both actually very good.
