Get Tacos from Oaxaxa, (which is directly across the street.)

That place is an awesome bar for beer.

That Pickle Burger place across the street has fantastic veggie burgers, FYI.

Will do my best to get there straight after Floyd, if Frias doesn't put me in the hospital first.
Floyd is not happening on the 27th
Boom!
i think i should be able to make it after work. I'll probably be there around 8 / 8:30ish though, and just a heads up that i may bring my dog since mission delores is dog friendly (unless anyone is opposed/afraid of dogs).
I'll probably be late...

At least the beer is in focus.  Good times, nice to see everyone.  Others joined us after the pics.

I enjoyed your strategy of making me stay out late drinking, knowing we had threshold waiting for us a few hours later.  I saw that it was ginger ale in your cocktail glass and smirked quietly to myself.

Bruce, way to capture this bunch in our most beautiful moments, you have a talent!

Thanks again to @Gwynna for organizing, good to chat with teammates new and old.  Weird that you all still exist off-forum, off-bike, and out-of-kit.

Great meeting you all. Hope to connect for a ride before too long!
Damn this thread is dead.

Sooo... I'm heading out to Kissena tomorrow (Sat) and will be doing a ~90min training session. Planning to get to the track by 10:30am or so, before the clinic starts.

Holla if anyone is interested in joining. I'm probably F train-ing it up there.
I'm headed up for the clinic.  Holler if you want to share a ride.
Clinic report from the Lone Kissena.

1) five hours is too long for the material they cover
2) riding a track bike is WEIRD

If I can find myself a 58" frame I'll be there Wed night.

That is all.

OH HELL YES.
Ask Andy for mine
Do the standard fitting rules apply for a track bike re: anatomy of knee over the ball of the foot?
Yeah dude.
I'm racing Eric's bike tonight as the carbon one is out of commission for repairs. They have bikes at the track also, a few of which I think the club owns.
I can drop it early tmrw morning.

Agree...most folks tend to spin a bit more on there track rigs, so the more over the top you can get, the better. But as a starter, get "road position" comfortable on your track bike, and fuss with saddle fore/aft height as you get more comfortable and figure out where you are sitting on the saddle mostly.
Heading to track tmrw for a session. Pm if you wanna join. Leaving BK around 9:00 am. Will probably be a hour long workout.
Forgot how much that hurt. Only having two laps to recover between efforts is a lot different from that "as long as you need to feel 100%" feeling.

Saw Ros, need coordinate better for next saturday.

Yep I'm under the understanding that it is a 200 meter track... maybe a 160. Very European Six Day style track.

In the past they have had six day esque/ multiple day Madison type things down there. Wanted to go down this year but it never happened. Next year will be the year of traveling to new tracks.

Yep 166... same as the Ghent Velodrome. The funny thing about that track, and say forest city isn't so much that they are short but that they are super narrow. According to my friend Mark at least.

Yikes... Derny or even crazier, Stayher racing on a track that short.

The crazy thing about the cleveland track is it's a public facility like Kissena.
