Has the Hellafaster been dry docked?

Not "fast" Jim..."faster". Enjoy that bad boy!
I saw Jim fly by today in a blaze of green - that bike is going to match his jersey...
'cept someone stuck a hill in front of the sprint line

Hellafaster is welded to the Kickr.
Ah yes...the kom has become the new sprint and the sprint the new kom...so weird
New bike day. Long story.
Christ Whitey....u get nosebleeds when you're up on those hoods?  Where's the power meter?  Do Treks still come with a complimentary "Fred" t-shirt?   if it doesnt work out for u and that hunk a hunk a plastic... you could always sell it on Euro ebay to finance your doping
program.
you had to see that coming

if you look closely at the headtube your can see a scratch from where it fell off the truck...
@yacks: Haters gonna hate.

@Jeffrey White

did that come with the special Cancellara button that gives you an additional 50 watts for 30 minutes, or 200 watts for 10 minutes?
Alas the real reason Spartacus rides mechanical....Di2 interferes with the motor
Ain't gonna win no races, but I'm pretty stoked on my new AWOL
Completely stock for now… but not for long
sweet !!!!

What kinds of adventures are you taking that thing on?
@Dan Reiners headed straight from the office to camp in Harriman tomorrow night, then it's 100 miles to Roxbury on Thursday, where I'm camping with some goons until Sunday, at which point I'm going to try and make it back in one go – we'll see. The stock cross country tires don't make much sense for most of the riding I'm doing on it, so I'll eventually swap them for some thing faster, but still fat as hell for gravel, dirt, etc. Here's what I'm packing (no real food as I like to pick that up as I go, and for most of the weekend camping my buddies are bringing the sustenance):

Shelter, coffee, sugar, whiskey, electricity, electrolytes, bike repair, and human repair. That's about it

On my way up to Wassaic last Friday I rolled over a rail tie on the dirt & gravel start of South County trail, and when I saw it coming braced for impact, only knowing what it was like to hit them with 28s but was surprised to find I barely even felt it ;) Also pretty impressed with how stable this sucker is. Doing 40 down a descent with 32 lbs of gear feels smooth, predictable, and safe.
Have an awesome time!!!!!!!!

Sounds awesome...especially the whiskey
the caad10 is getting the spinal tap treatment: upgraded to 11!

meh...call me when you get eTap
Dear Mister ,

trolling aside, i opted not to get eTap because, among other things, I wanted to be able to have CROSS compatibility with my cx bike
Brendan...what's happening to your existing SRAM 10speed parts?

asking for a friend (I am very friendly with my spare parts bin).
going to go on my pit bike bin, so that I can be a cool cx racer who has two bikes. apologies to Danfriend
Got the cross bike converted to a grocery getter - until the BB bearings went caput later in the day. Now need to find a shop that can put in new BB30 bearings on the island. #redtapeisfaster

11 years ago while living in SF, I bought a fixie and the guy who sold it to me said it was a great track bike, with threaded tires and an Alta frame.  2 days after buying it, I was going downhill and the chain snapped.  With no brakes and a blind intersection in front of me, I did only what I knew I could and purposefully crashed myself into a parked car.  I ended up unscathed  and recovered some $$ from the seller.  That frame is still with me today as my single speed (and a much beefier chain).

Now, new (to me) bike, a Giant Omnium 2012 vintage.  Time to hit the velodrome, may have some fun in PPark breaking it in. Thanks to Torin at Redbeard Bikes over hearing I was interest in a track bike and unloading his onto me.

Contemplating track next year also
i just emailed Kasia about getting one of those today...not sure if they are available in the USA

Confirming that omniums are not available this year. But, the langster pro
may be. I'll get back to you soon Chris!

Also we have the all city thunderdome, couple frames in stock, can order
others.
OOhhh...thanks Kasia....I can wait for the 2017's if they are coming stateside
I'm a fool for sloping top tubes
.... langster pro may be....
a non-announcement announcement?
Yes! We now carry Specialized. Stay tuned.
