@Mugwump you're right, I am amazed at the difference. Foil feels like a jet fighter, not super comfortable, just wants to go fast. 11 speed 10 speed makes a huge difference too, the small increments between gears is like an automatic (yeah the electric part has something to do with that).

(gasp...and dab the teary eye) Going from the Ti Bianchi with a bottom bracket that moved like overcooked pasta to the beefy aluminum Spooky was a revelation. Also, the Bianchi tended to turn like an old firetruck with independent front and rear steering. Cue the Benny Hill theme song please...

After 10+ years with my trusty steel Bianchi--not to mention all the help (read: enabling) by Kissena members--I bit the bullet and got a new road bike. Jonathan from ACME was the real enabler, here: Guru made the titanium frame according to his specifications in under two weeks, and he built it up thereafter. Specs:
- Guru Praemio custom frame, built in Canada
- Enve carbon fork
- Sram Force 22 Groupset
- 3T stem
- Cobb cranks (yes, shorter than average)
- Praxis Works chainring
- Mavik Equipe Wheels
