@Jim - OH HELL YEAH.

the good times we coulda had!
After nearly 4 months of waiting, Cannondale finally delivered a CAAD10 frameset with my name on it to Ride Brooklyn who have it prepped for me to pickup whenever I can make it there before 7pm.

I.  Can.  Not.  Frickin.  Wait.
Baller...RESPECT !!!!
booyakasha right back at ya, snaps.
Ursula?  Bartholomew?  Gretchen?  Mildred?  How call you your new bicycle, David?
Determined to get to the shop before closing tomorrow.

Batman!
Batman is set up and now it's time to head to RB to have the steerer tube cut.
Beater bike back from the dead.

No front derailleur because I'm tired of lying to myself.
I'm not sure what's better; the MadFibRe wheels on a beater bike or the creature holding it up...

Oh and saw Erika at the shop when the steerer was being cut.  Completely didn't recognize her due to new-bike-excitement-brain and like a dumbass introduced myself to her.  Also without glasses people look completely different.  Who knew? (Answer: Everyone but Yang).
If she wasn't wearing glasses she was probably a Cylon, not the original model.  Toss her out the nearest airlock.
You sure you got the steerer cut?
ZING!
Ouch.  I'm not slamming that stem until a proper fit at Acme.
You've discovered my secret! Here's hoping USADA's cylon detector is as effective as Dr. Baltar's...

@Yang, Batman is gorgeous. Definitely strikes the right balance between the raw power of Bat Tumbler and the sexy sleekness of Bat Corvette.
@yang,

1. I'd love to see some orange tape over the orange tape.

2. Shave some grams by running at least an 84 stem.

3. Full size frame pump under the top tube.  Roll like a pro.
Quick pic of what  arrived today. I'll post better pictures, with less basement detritus in view when I have completed the build.

Where is the "Dayum!" button?
FYI - I became a US Citizen last week - hence the color scheme.

(Shucks - I even wrote 'color' and not 'colour')
What a beauty Ian and congrats on your citizenship!

Btw, I love the BMC bike names...Time Machine, Race Master.
Can't wait for: Cow Ace and Army Knife Blade.
@Ian - Do you talk like Tommy Lee Jones now?
*off topic*

By far one of my favorite cinematic moments

and of course spoofed by The Simpsons

This just happened. RIP Trek 5200. Needs a 130mm Cavendish worthy carbon stem if anyone has one kicking around. Also, the seatpost clamp seems a bit underpowered for my liking, any recco's re putting carbon grit stuff in there?

Thanks to Wes for the hookup! Speaking of which, if you are looking for a new ride, go see Peter at RB, he said this month he will give Kissenas sweet deals on the bikes he has in store — Giant Propels, Cannondales etc.
Gonna transfer over the shiny red bar tape?
Good question Jeff, have been ruminating over red seat/tape combo.
Hey Jon I have big beefy 130 bontrager cavendish looking stem I used for the track.
I think you're going to have whiplash making the transition from the Trek to the foil.
