With a ~100 person club once you have disparate jerseys you're not going to get people wearing the same thing at races.

One alternative would be to print a run of jackets only.

Champ-sys has a Weather Guard LS and SS jersey options. Which is their gabba-esque jersey and would be good for cross or gravel in rough weather but would be too warm for those hot September CX races, but could be good for a spring series joint in March with freezing rain and trips thru horseshit alley. 

Maybe we only make this style in that jersey type and request that unless it is going to be actually raining riders don’t race on the road in this jersey. 

I could've used a dark blue kit today at Dave Jordan race in Central Park. Wet roads and horse shit in liquid form. Yum

What's interesting to me is they have a zippered version of the same jersey that the team has been trying out.  I'm thinking the zip version could be good for aero jersey wear in local races.  Certainly easier to pin up than a skin suit.

For the Tour, the riders get adhesive numbers and probably have a soigneur stick them on after donning the jersey.  I can't see us pinning up and then stretching it on.

Well the good news is I'm sure it will be a completely new template for the designers to struggle with...

Hi guys - if anyone has any kit that they no longer want/ordered the wrong size etc willing to give it a new home over here...small bibs and medium tops but probably can squeeze into a small!

@mugwump do you (or any one else) have any experience with the Weatherguard Jersey or fabric? It sounds like a good cool/wet weather fabric, but I’d like to get some more info before dropping $200.

     It appears to be C-S's version of Castelli's Gabba.  

     While I have neither tried nor seen the Weathergaurd, I do have the first or second gen Gabba short sleeve.  I think of it more as a short sleeve wetsuit top.  I've never worn it in the dry, only in the rain.  I could see using it for muddy mtb or cx rides, but it's mostly a rain piece.  For that, I've found the temp range to be about 60-47f.  I could see racing in it in colder temps.   It doesn't breathe well and it isn't seam sealed, but it does breathe a bit and feels more comfy than a rain jacket in those temperatures due to the better fit. 

     As the Gabba has a DWR coating, you'll need to refresh the coating every so often.
