Well since you *did* ask, I am now able to echo-locate, but only if I'm yodeling in a ceramic subway car, and even then it involves a lot of tripping & falling.Erika Tarte said:@Jules, does that mean you've developed the power of echolocation? or have you abandoned all hope of ever getting to wear a cap?@Gwynna, I haven't measured circumference but it fits me fairly snug with enough stretch in the elastic to be comfortable and with enough extra material in the back for proper luft.
@Konrad, you want same size but go with the longer length.konrad said:omg do want race suit.As for razor bibs... what's the comparison to normal bibs? Size up, size down? Logic has me thinking "stay the same" but experience with CS has me thinking that I might be stupid to assume so.

Not everyone has GIANT QUADS like you Rigby.Brendan Rigby said:I wear medium razor edge and regular bibs. In my experience, the non-razor shorts are tighter around the thighs; the elastic gripper expands less. I don't layer the non-razors with tights because they are too...tight.
Sweater bags. This way your shorts won't get worn or stretched by the action of the washer.David Yang said:FWIW my razor bibs are still okay after last year's road season. A little faded, but grips and chamois are fine. I've never machine washed them, always handwash.
I mean those mesh bags, yes. While I haven't worn or washed Razor shorts, I have worn out shorts in the wash. My shorts started lasting longer after I started bagging them. I'm a bit lost as to why the ends of the legs would flare on the razors, but I figure that limiting the rubbing that the short legs have against machines should do well for the grippers.Gwynna Smith said:Oh THANK YOU for the tip, JP. 'Cause I'm kinda fundamentally opposed to handwashing cycling gear. Knock wood, I've had great luck machine washing, but I was worried for these. The razors would be the most money I've ever spent on cycling clothing (though I do own two pairs of $150-$175 winter tights, I paid nothing close to that).I assume you mean mesh bags, that might also be labeled stocking/pantyhose bags (as an FYI for those who might try to search for them).
It's probably due to the preternatural flexing of your thighs as you stomp through the winter months on your trainer. Just saying.Erika Tarte said:@mugwump the flare is more of like a slight outward roll (think "boot cut" not "bell bottom") that I believe is the result of machine washing combined with stretching the grippers over leg warmers. I love the razors so much I'll continue to chose them over the standard CS bibs. But after only 6-ish months, mine have the elasticity of a second hand balloon.
