Jeff, based on the opposing photographer (and exploding flash), it looks like this scene may have been captured from all angles. Which would mean that someone can recreate this scene Matrix style. Is Bernard The One?

When ordering... Consider carefully your sizing. I think RB has try-on kits? Last year, I purposely ordered a LARGE ThermoShield Pro jacket, because I wanted more room than my previous size medium for more comfortable layering. Turns out if I had to do it again, I'd order an XL. Even JP asked me, when he saw the jacket, if it was "small or medium?" (And for those of you who know me to be plumper than I should be, while this is certainly true, the tight fit issues I'm having are specifically around my shoulders and arm-pits.)

@PatrickG - The next new proof project is the new skinsuit with razor bottoms and razor-jersey top with pockets (it's not on the Champ-Sys website yet). Lobby the boys at Anti-Anti (Ros Knopov and Graydon Kolk) if you want the Repel to be next in line.

@PatrickG, The jacket is described as being eVent fabric. That's a gore-tex competitor (see Jules' Showers Pass jacket for reference), not a gore windstopper (which is the Gabba's material) competitor. In other words, a rain jacket with a little stretch.

So I like my razor bibs a lot but I found them to be not so durable. I hand wash or wash cold gentle cycle and hang dry, but the chamois is like, falling apart inside its pocket. Never had that happen w a bib before. I like them enough that I'm hoping it's an anomaly and would be willing to buy more. Anyone had better experiences?

I've got the Razor with red chamois and have had no disintegration issues.

I have one of each and no problems yet; that said I think I probably did about 1/4 the miles @Ryan did on his.

My razor edge with red chamois (the non-surcharge kind) has also disintegrated inside itself.  I can feel that deep inside the chamois there is a layer of padding that has moved.  It has manifested its destiny and moved westward.  Towards my left leg.

Why might I want a long distance skinsuit? I mean, I want one because they look badass. But what purpose will one serve in my upcoming race season? (So far my only TT is a hill climb, so that level of aero matters not so much.)

erika: i have no idea.  adults have no business wearing onesies unless they are doing luge.  or speedskating.  i hear they make sense in cyclocross where you're going to get covered in muck and it's nice to just peel the whole thing off.  

@Erica hold out for the new "Race" suits. More aero advantage than a fancy new set of wheels at 1/20th the price.

The new "Race" suits have two pockets in the back, as well as "Razor" bottoms and aero material.  You'll be able to get them in both long & short sleeve versions.

Ian asked a question about the availability of the CS fleece lite jersey/jacket in another thread. I just want to add my two cents here.

I unknowingly received this particular jersey last year. I did not even realize there was a lite version. Anyway, I have both the lite and the regular and I prefer the regular. FWIW.

I did it so you can spot me in park races as "that guys who used to be cool but we longer like yet is still on Kissena."
