That's great news!! Thanks @kayt and really looking forward to working with you @dalesuttle!!!
I can do Columbus Day if anyone wants. Morning time.
Also since its seems like all the women have yet to meet each other, I'd love to meet for a quick after work drink, either in the city or bk. would the 9th or the 16th work for anyone?

Awesome news @Kayt! Thank you so much for your very generous offer @DaleSuttle! With the wisdom and support of so many members of this club, along with some pretty dedicated ladies, I have a feeling the Kissena women's 2014 season is going to rock. hard.

Anna Maria, I think that's a great idea! I could do the 9th.

@Gwynna where are you coming from? I tend to ride CP on Wednesday mornings if you ever wanted to meet up.

I can do the 9th or 16th, Anna Maria. The 16th would probably work a little better for me (in the midst of 'Rocktober' at work so lots of shows and things going on) but I can make either night work. Just throwing it out there that I work until 7, so 7:30 or later (preferably 8) is usually the earliest I can meet up. Let me know once a date is picked and I'll add to my calendar.

Annnnnnd i'm in for Friday AM. Looking forward to it!
hey ladies, @kayt is out of town on the 16th, can we rally and meet up on the 9th? @paige, you might work the latest out of all of us, perhaps we should plan to meet near your work? Any suggestions?

Brain Breech's (champion system, mengoni) wife bartends there too :P
The 9th at Blueprint works for me. Like Paige, my work hours tend to run late (typically out around 7:30pm) so if we plan to meet up at/around/slightly after 8pm, that would rock. Otherwise, save me a seat and I'll try my hardest to bridge the gap in the cocktail department.

The 9th at Blueprint is great for me. I can probably be there by 8(ish).
Fantastic!! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Blueprint!! And also in PP tomorrow am :)

@Gwynna, very sorry to hear we shan't see you in the park tomorrow, though quite understandable-.. Unless it's for a flight to the Caribbean, getting up at 4 am just ain't right. We need to get a Central Park group going, and we will!

A new potential recruit will be joining the training ride in PP tomorrow. Her name is Jessica and she was recommended by @ericmehlenbeck--thanks Eric!

Looking forward to seeing those of you coming out at 6 am including @Daleour fearless leader at tomorrow's session.

We're still on for Blueprint tonight, right? Not sure how active the new ladies are on the forums, so I'll send an email reminder out as well.

I'll be there around 8pm and will just start waving to every group of women I see until someone, (anyone) hands me a drink. How the hell am I supposed to know what you all look like w/o spandex, shades, and helmets?!
We had exactly the same idea at exactly the same time @erika I'll be there earliest maybe? I'm thinking 730. For what it's worth, I look like my picture, minus the road rash! I'll do my best to hold down a spot should a good one be open. See you later!!!

A friendly reminder about the women's team ride tomorrow morning, starting at 6 am. @Jeff White has kindly offered to lead the session, and he's got a full agenda of drills for us. It's going to be a good time!

There's a chance of rain so please dress accordingly, and equip your ride with a fender (or fenders) if possible. See you tomorrow!
Thanks for the reminder Kayt. And a big thanks to Jeff as well!

I just picked up some Raceblade fenders and managed to fit them on my bike during my lunch hour. Super easy, super quick!
@Erika make sure to get some kind of tape between the rubber and your frame to avoid chipping the clear coat on your frame (I use electrical tape fwiw)

Thanks @Jules. I totally didn't think of that.
Neither did I
:/
hey all, my fender only protects me and I have a super crappy light. if the weather is looking dicey tomorrow at 5, I may opt out. Im happy to text you in the am to confirm, I doubt anyone wants to wait more than 60 seconds at GAP if its raining!
I'll be there with my on-bike floodlights and an extra fender to assist, you can keep me company or borrow mine if you like.
I'm in the same boat as @AnnaMaria...my gear for my bike is fine, but if the weather is super shitty I may be inclined to bail and just ride rollers in the comfort of my apartment instead. I also haven't reallyyyy gotten around to buying proper rain gear for myself yet (i have fenders and lights for my bike, but no rain jacket) so as of now i'm playing it by ear for tomorrow...
Hey... when where to meet for the Friday ride?  - cheers
