Was Maura Hays one of the potential recruits you met on the 100? I see she's requested to join the Club's strava page, but that is closed to non-members.

"We like our rides like we like our fonts. Sans serif. If we have
something to say, we will say it in Helvetica overlaid on a picture of
us looking off into the distance, pretending that our photographer
didn't just say, "Look off into the distance like you're thinking deeply
about something!""
It was a great race...my 4th time doing it and we got wonderful weather....it is usually hot as balls!
I shaved off over 11 min off my best time,,,I have been training hard (which is why i've been MIA....Kissena Tri Team might have a nice ring to it?
Also i REALLY would like to try cross this season...are there any clinics I should know about (where I could possibly borrow a bike for a few times before I commit to buying one?)
I think Anna Maria wants to try too!

Regarding Maura Hayes, I sent her a sign-up email but according to MailChimp she never opened it. If anyone is in contact with her, have her look for it. Thanks!

I'm not sure if people still race this late in the summer but just an FYI - there is an open women's race this Saturday in central park. Courtesy of CRCA.
Thanks @Phil! I know @Emily and @Ingrid are registered, but is anyone else planning on racing on Saturday? I'll be there.
Speaking of Saturday, please raise your hand if you might be up for a Women's Team ride to Piermont after Saturday's CRCA race. There are so many of you I haven't seen all summer, and it would be great to get an organized group together before the end of (road) race season.
Please "Awesome" this post if you are able to join. The ride will start at the Tavern on the Green finish in Central Park around 7:30 am, after the end of the race.
Team, I have a Sarah Dade, Weehawken, NJ wanting to join Kissena on Strava. I'm assuming she was another rider on the Rapha 100 that expressed interest in the club. I can't add her because I don't see her on the paid members list, and unable to message her. Thinking someone on the women's team knows her and has a way of reaching out to her about the Sunday new member ride (9am GWB)?

@JohnMalcolmson, I know Sarah! We've chatted on a couple Rapha rides and she's great. I'll reach out via FB to let her know about the new member ride, and will try to get her email as well.

Okay, talked with Sarah D. Apparently it was an accident that she asked to join our Strava group, so I would say don't worry about that...for now. Also she's out of town until Sunday night so will miss this weekend's new member ride.
She seemed interested in Kissena, however had also been approached by Alie G from KruiseCX, who leads many of the Rapha rides. I think Alie's been actively recruiting some of the stronger women for her team (another friend that I had in mind for KCC already got snatched up by her as well). Still, she was on the fence about Kruise so I sent her the new member questionnaire and will keep in touch with her going forward.
We're going to try one more time to get some people out for the Friday morning women's ride. Should we do coffee afterwards? Will that get people out? We have at least one non-Kissena member coming to check it out so it would be nice to have some of the group out to promote. It'd be great to discuss the race too. I hope to see you'll in the morning.
