Floyd races will not start at 6am. Some may question if they even start at all.

Unlike the parks, Floyd does not have strict bike race timing requirements, especially on the weekends. I would expect AVD to send out an email (or potentially tweet) start times at around 11pm on the night before the race.

For what it's worth I was looking at the Prospect Park and 2 FBF races on
the weekend of the 20th and the 27th. Start times are listed as 6am and
6:30. Riding to Prospect for me from hell's kicthen to make a 6am start
means leaving my place at 4:30am to get there with time to pin my number
and line up.

FBF is about 18 miles one way- not sure if taking the subway would be
better or what.

Don't expect typical (tues/thurs night) course layouts at AVD's Floyd races either.

Whats up with this AVD guy? Is there a back story- What time did these races go off last year at FBF/ PP.

Dude, relax. He's nuts. Things will reveal themselves in due time. If you want to race the SS at Floyd, just commit to it spiritually. That's about all you can do for now.

We should decide as a team how we're riding this race. The usual? Or strictly for JP getting placing/money/points? Because it makes a difference should one of us get in a break.

We should dictate the race and put 3+ guys in the break. Right now, we look to be almost 25% of the field.  

I predict a registration surge. I predict Foundation wins from the break. We need to get in that move.

I guess it sounds like Perlberg and Ragot get freedom to go for the win if in break?

That said... who are the series compeditors? who should be kept an eye on?

Watchung has been using the tactic of sending their riders up the road, even if those riders aren't "protected" then they have been able to stick two or three of their guys in the breaks because the rest of the team is able to take rides up to the break. Other riders and teams just cant' cover.

I can't be there but I'll say the same thing I said to Ragot before Branchbrook this year: leaders have to be bossy both beforehand and on the road and make sure people know what you want. Most of us in the 123 are fairly race savvy at this point but we don't all have the decades of experience that some of you have.
