News trickling in today...
Amber Neben, coached by Tim, 2019 TT US Champion.
and Behold! Wout Van Aert, 2019 TT Belgian Champion.
FIRAH...
Over a minute faster than Campernaerts
I'm going to race the NYS TT champs in Tioga Center this Sunday. I am driving up to Binghamton late on Saturday. Drop me a line if you want to join me and suffer for an hour Sunday.

No TT bike? No problem, there is a Merckx (non-aero) category.  Last year, Anthony Ott won the Merckx category! I tried to convince him to defend his title, but he complained of being out of shape after having run a marathon last month.

Race Report for the NJ Eddy’s Championship. The course was pancake flat, then it wasn’t (about a 500 foot climb with upwards of 18% ramps). Then it flattened out again before dropping into a downhill into the finish.

Overall I was way happier with my performance than the last TT. I got off the line quickly and settled into a nice rhythm and pace pretty quickly. The first 7 miles were flat with a few bumps here and there and I was able to put the power down and caught a few people in front of me.

Then we hit the climbs. I felt like I managed them well but realized I was going a little to hard too early. I settled down a bit, got my breathing under control and recovered a bit. Once we were through the climb it was a mad dash for the last 5 miles. I really put the power down here and tried to dig as deep as possible and ended up crossing the line doing 40 mph

I finished a solid 7th and set some new best power and heart rate records in Training Peaks, so all in all, a solid day in the saddle.
Reviving this old thread - I'm thinking of doing this early season TT in the Open field for funsies.

@David Yang count me in. Conveniently I'll staying at my in-laws house the night of the 17th and this is like 10 minutes from them.

The Fox Hill climb is great and pretty steady (the decent is especially fun). I'm almost positive I've ridden the roads for the 2nd leg, but not that exact route
Matt, shoot I realized I have a family thing early that afternoon and the second TT starts at noon.
no worries, I'll report back on it!
I don't think I can make this one, but NYS ITT and NJ TT state championships are close by in Stony Point, Sunday Sept 7, 2025.

About 40km/25mi with a bit of elevation. Not sure how many folks will be on full TT bikes but I bet some of you would do really well kitted out with aero bits and positioning!

That's harriman.  It starts at Lake Welch, takes Lake Welch Drive to Seven Lakes, makes a right and goes to Tiorati, then U-turns back on Seven lakes almost to Sloatsburg, then back to Lake Welch.

I haven't done a 40k tt in ages.

Seriously considering.

I've never done a TT, would be interested in this.  I don't have a ton of racing options left as I'll be gone for L&C #8, so this and Diamond Mountain Classic may be what I am eyeing as season closers.
Go for it Max, you'll have a great time!
The TT has been moved to Sunday, September 28.

Still thinking about it
I'm going to be out of town for this now unfortunately
I would be interested in the time trial
RJ go for it!
Sadly, the Silvermine TT has been cancelled for 2025.

I was cautiously looking forward to it.

Damn. Would love to do something like this in the future.
