·       Auto affiliation for RB employees (if not a member of another). Looking into number of employees and length of employment, etc. to see if feasible

·       Spoke with Shane from TBD and park riding protocol

·       Idea of putting an island to separate bike and jogger lane at the bottom of the park proposed as part of the park revitalization- keeping an eye on this

Clothing

·       Looking into expanding our clothing collection to include some of ChampSys running lines

·       Pat spoke with TBD member about social media: Key take aways (i) decentralized in nature, (ii) google sheet available to club to keep everyone updated on what projects are going on, (ii) social media manager handles posting schedule, (iv) participants in writing, reviewing, photographing, etc. get credit for the work and receive a sponsorship incentive for the work

      o   Big Hurdles: (i) Fear that the heavy lift will fall to a few people and if person leaves/doesn’t want to do it anymore, the whole strategy is derailed, (ii) not enough content, (iii) what incentives can we offer to make it enticing for people to partake?

Races

·       Starting back up! Keep an eye out for volunteer links

• We still need to discuss price, which might depend on the volume of recent Champion orders. 
• They can send some samples, so we can gather on size and quality
• They are able to setup a private store, or even a public one, and drop ship directly orders.
• Unsurprisingly, as the custom fitness apparel has matured, they likely can match competitors 1:1.

• Hincapie approached us about becoming our kit sponsor
• We haven’t discussed numbers, but board and present members discussed whether his history is a     nonstarter, pros of continuing the conversation and maybe ultimately going with them (kit quality, they’re offering social media exposure and PR) and cons (history as a  former doper, changing kit supplier is a PITA)
• Voted whether to go forward: unanimously voted against by those in attendance 

Finance

• Bank account is healthy

On a personal note, my intuition is that there is some motivation for this deal to happen, so if you feel strongly otherwise, please consider joining the call or write a post on why.

• Shop ride is upcoming on September 14th from Ride Brooklyn's Park Slope location at 8am (or GWB at 9am) 
• Membership waiver is going to be updated to include the park riding protocol and guidance for group riding and other road/park users

Training/Development:

• Winter is coming! Strat thinking about training plans, and equipment you'll need (smart trainer, clothing, tires)

• Elections timing discussed- if you’re interested in running for a board position, reach out to a board member to learn more
• Elections likely to be in November (maybe December)

• The annual KCC Hill Climb World Championship returns November 23rd! Get the legs ready to fight for the hotly contested Kissena Bowling Trophy of Champions and eat donuts!
• Cyclocross calendar is live! See what races everyone is attending and how they're getting there!
