Team Kit Order

A lot of people used to put a little cut in the elastic on the seam of the sleeve to make room for their guns.
Ooooh, I'm going to try that for my belly.
Question: Is the June 14 delivery date for the clothing order to Ride Bk Bergen still a go?
Yep. Kit got to my apt today.
OK peeps, this Saturday it's KIT TIME again at Ride Brooklyn. Everyone's favorite!

Well, almost everyone's. As it turns out, it's not always Ride Brooklyn's favorite.

Here's the deal:

Your new orders of clothing will be available starting Saturday at Ride Brooklyn. You all must pick up your kit by Monday, June 30. That gives you three weekends to get it done. After that date, I will take possession of all unclaimed kit and treat it as the club's stock to be sold. Kit unclaimed by June 30 will not be eligible for a refund. If you can't pick up your kit by the end of June, I'd suggest making arrangements for a friend (not me) to pick it up for you.

This has actually been standing club policy for some time now, but since we've been receiving utterly reasonable complaints from our esteemed sponsor Ride Brooklyn, I will begin carrying out club policy in a more rigorous fashion.

Also -- and I can't believe I have to say this -- when you go in to pick up your stuff, please be courteous to the Ride Brooklyn employees. Sadly, we've received complaints about folks being disrespectful to them. Those incidents probably happened on good-weather weekends when the shop was slammed and the staff were under pressure. I don't know. But try to go out of your way to be friendly and gracious to them because they're our sponsors and frankly they're solid peeps in the cycling community.
An alternative for those of you who don't live close to Ride Btooklyn: ask them to ship your order. I live out in Long Island and they have offered to do so when I have ordered stuff from them in the past. Yes, you'll pay for shipping, but think of how much good will you'd get in return.

I'll grab them Gwynna. I'll be watching Sunday.

Are there any large jersey's out there with the race cut?   I have the club fit and she is baggy.  If anyone has one that they would like to sell...I'm listening.

Per Jeff White's email today- When nobody picks up their kit at RB what happens to it? Also, is there a list of the items so we can peruse and possibly buy them?
Also, did the CS Store dates get bumped? I thought it was the end of July now it appears to be first weekend in August.
I was in there this week and all they had for Kissena was Osmo marching powder.
i am looking for a large race fit jersey....homie be dropping the pounds
Keep dropping and my mediums will fit you...
I'll need to have some bones removed to make that dream come true.
Yacks, you're a medium.

Regards,
KCC Kit Czar
Craig, I moved the kit order window to accommodate an extra Meet Kissena ride. We have limited clothing stock. Contact me if you have pressing need.
Craig to answer you question about repossessed kit; the kit goes back into club stock.  I think this is referenced in the kit order email that is sent out at the beginning of each order window.
Question for upcoming KCC clothing order: On CS bib tights- what size do you guys wear? I wear medium bib shorts but wear Large leg warmers, which I find tend to run small. Anyone been wearing Champ Sys bib tights care to chime in?
I wear the large big tights and they fit pretty well. I also wear large bibs. I wear large leg warmers that feel just ever so slightly too big.

I've found that the fleece gradually looses some of it's elasticity, so I'll be ordering a couple pair of new tights this round for the winter.

This might seem like a given at this point, but I caution you all to expect that new clothing is likely to fit differently (than the same exact item you ordered last year). Deal with it. Consistency seems to be more of a best-effort kind of thing at champ-sys.

Hopefully that's changing.
For Sale: Just in time for Fall... 2 Medium long sleeve C/S Tech jerseys. Lightweight material like the standard short sleeve jerseys, just with long sleeves. These were Club cut but I had them taken in on the sides so they fit like a Race Cut. Never worn, sadly. Like new. Say $40 a piece or make an offer. I'm in Soho during the day and can meet there 9-5.
Question on the pro winter jacket- what size did you guys go with last year? I'm a medium in most stuff- (small race cut in their jerseys even) In last years order I got a medium jacket and it was short in the arms making it impossible to wear and/or bend my arms? Do I really need a large?

Answered in another thread...but yeah, if the medium doesn't fit, then it seems to me you have two options. Not order a pro jacket or go large. Large may fit you like a glove. It's too snug on me.
Has anyone had luck ordering from the CS store yet today or am I the first one?
Oh yeah, store's open. Scroll up for instructions.

It closes next Sunday.
