Are there any verge winter offers that maybe I’m missing? Black Friday sale? Free shipping?

so far, I've only seen discounts on some of their consumer stuff.

One thing I'm surprised by is that they don't have consumer leg warmers at all.  I would have thought they'd do warmers in popular colors to match with the custom clothes they well.
Just got the email this morning - 20% off team kit (no coupons) through Sunday!

Our Black Friday Sale is officially here and it’s the perfect time to gear up.

From Wednesday, November 26 through Sunday, November 30, every item in your Team Store will automatically receive a 20% discount. No code needed — just visit your Team Store and the savings apply automatically.

This is the ideal time to stock up on team kit, grab winter gear, or get a jump start on next season.

Couple of Q's to the team.

  1. Does anyone have the thermal long sleeve? Trying to understand the fit
  2. I reached out to Brian/Charlie on email to ask if there were longer bibs, there are (Pro Tour – 11” inseam, extremely long) but they are not available in our store. @g@GregHoge did Verge ever reach out to ask about adding these?
Cheers,

K
Not sure if the same thing but my note on the fleeced long sleeve:
  • Winter fleeced long sleeve jersey feels oddly sized... loose arms, tight body.
Has anyone tried the Thermal Jacket? Curious how it compares to Champ Sys

Thx, basically as this guy is wearing it: https://www.vergesport.com/products/aero-therm-3-0-jacket?srsltid=AfmBOoryIsEsRYzDbewoOnHlnUlDmvgka5cjNzE32rMFmNhSEW_jINiB
I have the thermal jacket , it’s not as fitted as the apex(fancy line?) champ sys the pockets are  shallow and wide and are made of a different fabric , which may be reflective but looks a bit like denim
How is the overall verdict looking between Verge & Champsys?
(not trying to stir the pot, just curious)
I haven’t tried the Verge winter stuff yet but I really like their summer bibs/jersey and skinsuit. The fit, design and materials felt more contemporary than the ChampSys stuff I had.

That said, the race fit aero ribbed jersey Champ Sys rolled out just before we switched felt modern in those ways and I liked it a lot, so guess they were modernizing.

Those more modern aka stylist fits have me reaching for my Kissena stuff more often and not looking at buying overpriced MAAP/PNS stuff in order to look cool.
Has anyone got the Verge winter stuff yet? I’m probably buying today with the discount and have some questions:

Which bib tights model did you get and do you like them? Anyone know which tights model feels most appropriate for a NYC winter?

How do you like the winter jacket vs the thermal jersey? How did they differ in feel? Which fits tighter and more aero?
What makes the stuff more modern?
Couple of thoughts on kit I want to put out there:

  1. Can we get the Pro Tour option bibs? These are longer than the "Longs" they currently offer and align with the longest Champsys.
  2. Would anyone be interested in a custom kit mod to celebrate the US's 250th bday? Not sure who we would get to design this but would be pretty cool.
@KevinWomack - What's the pro tour option? I couldn't find it on their regular page - we can ask Charlie.

Never thought about a semiquincentennial themed kit (TIL 250th anniversary is a semiquincentennial), but if it looks super cool would be interested!

Ahead of that though I am obsessed with this KCC throwback kit... (courtesy Greg Avon):

I had to look it up... BALLER. OG Masi family, Italian built frames with OS steel tubes with internal lugs???
The pic shows Andrew Lewis, Joao Correia, Jon-Michael Sakalowsky.  this was a few  years before I was on Kissena.  Probably 1997.

I do have the jersey.  I meant to bust it out on a warm club ride last year.  guess it will have to wait til spring.  At the time, it was one of the better-material, better cut jerseys.  Back then it was radical with a 3/4 zipper.
