Team Kit Order

A quick mention as members place their orders.

Common sense will prevail, of course, but generally, Kissena members are expected to race and train in a Kissena jersey. For racing we expect you to please race in the white jersey with the current sponsors logo -- Specialized is our new 2019 sponsor. Blue jerseys can be used for training.
@eloy I totally understand that we need to race in the new kit, but what about the first couple races of the year (Grant's Tomb, Randall's Island, etc.)? I don't think a lot of us will have the new kit before some of these races. I'll have a new Specialized bike though B)

Team,

Reminder the store closes tonight at midnight.

A blue kit store should be open in the next few days which will include the arm/knee/leg warmers.

Jim
Jim, is the blue kit store open? No rush, I missed the last couple kit orders and just wanted to make sure I didn't miss this one
Nope, not yet. I should have time either today or tomorrow to get it online. Sorry about the delay.

Team,

A Kissena blue kit order will open tomorrow at midnight. Everyone should receive an email when it opens.

You will be able to order long sleeve jerseys, vests, and jackets as well as the warmers that didn't get into the regular order (knee/leg/arm). Please race in our regular awesome kit but feel free to wear the blue kit when training, warming up for CX races, or lounging at your favorite Manhattan cocktail bar.

Cheers,
Jim
Will the dark kit be available in shorts sleeve in the future? Asking for a friend.
Greetings,

Being that I just got accepted to the team (see my post in the Introduce Yourself, Post a Photo), and I am kit-less. I understand that I missed the clothing order window, and I am not sure when the next order cycle will be happening, so I am wondering if it is possible for me to borrow a jersey since I plan to start racing on March 24th at Prospect?

Please let me know how I should proceed.

Thanks,

Andrew
We should have another kit order opening later this month, but that means getting the kit in April or early May.

Post your jersey size (or your height and weight). Someone is likely to be able to lend you a jersey for the L&C race
I can prob lend you a short sleeve jersey @AndrewJohnson. Do you prefer Medium or Large?
@JohnOlsson. Thanks, I'm usually a M for US sizing.
I have a long sleeve jersey if you want. I'll be traveling abroad at the time of the race. And, if you win, it can turn into a lucky jersey... PM in on Slack if you're interested.
Two Kit announcements:

1. The last white kit order has arrived at Redbeard. Go pick one up! Blue kit arriving soon.

2. Another Kit order window will open this weekend. Keep an eye on your email for an announcement.
I picked up my kit on Friday and it's definitely very sharp!

That said, I am missing a wind jacket and wind vest. I called Redbeard and it's not that I just missed a bag, so it may be a problem on Champ-sys' end?

Were the wind jacket and vest part of the white or blue kit order?y understanding is that the white kit has arrived, while the blue kit has not arrived at RedBeard yet
Team,

A few of you were missing items from the kit order. I got the following note from CS regarding a few items that were delayed and will ship separately:

Wind Vests

Wind Jackets

Intermediate Jackets

Mini Jersey

The ship date for these items should be March 18th

Men CS APEX Winter Bib Tights(Granfondo Chamois)

The ship date for this item should be March 25th

Sorry about the confusion. I'll post when these items arrive at Redbeard.

Jim
@Nathaniel Picard Busky I was tipped off by @RichFreeman to email Jesse from Champ Sys. He said there was some mix up and jackets/ vests will be shipped today. They’ll arrive by the end of the week.
@PatrickGrehan both should have been in the white kit order. They're on the order fulfillment paperwork that came with everything else but don't actually appear in the bag.
@Nathaniel Picard Busky see Jim’s post above
@PatrickGrehan oops! didn't go to the next page before replying there, thanks Patrick and thanks @jim_nelson for sorting this out!

@PatrickGrehan @jim_nelson

I'm also missing a wind vest.  Perhaps the windbreaker material stuff is coming later.
Just a heads up that the next Team Kit Store opens tonight at Midnight and closes on March 28th. I will send out an email with links in the AM.
Are we making short sleeves available in blue?
As always, thanks for your work on the kit orders @jim_nelson and @PatrickGrehan!
Hi @jim_nelson

I just joined the team - looking through a few thread pages here, sounds like the online store opened up this past weekend - would it be possible to send me a link?
@BrianStan a new kit store is opening today at midnight.
Team Kit Store is now open through the end of Thursday March 28th. Use the separate links before for the White and Blue kits.

Note that we ask that everyone race in White kit. The Blue kit is intended to give us an alternative way to look sharp when training or warming up. The blue jerseys are only offered as a long sleeve option.

To order, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:
1. Click on the appropriate link:  White Kit    ---    Blue Kit

2. Under "Returning Customer" enter your existing Champ-Sys email and password. If you don't have one yet, enter the following temporary username and password (case sensitive):
   a. Username: Kissena
   b. Password: Boitano14
   c. You will be prompted to create your own new login and password.

3. Under "Kissena Cycling Club Store" click on "Order Now"

Note that the default shipment address cannot be changed. The kit will be delivered to Redbeard Bikes for everyone to come and pick up.  You will receive an email notification when this happens.

If you have any problems with your order, please call Customer Support at
(402) 875-5847. Our contact is Chris Young.

***IMPORTANT: If a note appears stating that an item requires an additional proof, do not order this item as it is not yet approved for Club wear.
Since I have no clue which line I should be getting in the clothing, I did some digging and found the Champion Systems flow chart to help figure out how to choose their clothing line:

Hopefully this will help out us newbies.
