Airbnb secured! Got a nice message from the owner;

"You’ll like this race, weather can be a bit tricky...... all good! If questions come please feel free to contact me. The house will provide everything needed except food and refreshments"

I believe he may be slightly understating the weather.

I'll pull together an email list for everyone in the new year so that we can start to organize transport, food and refreshments. In addition I was discussing the event with Redbeard last night, and if anyone is interested in getting together to purchase some hardcore engineering (aka ePTFE aka Gore-Tex) then they would be happy to support us with some additional discount on Gore products.
