I might be there.
^ Did you find anything Jules? Half off is pretty sweet.
Found the perfect bike, but they didn't have my size. Mattie, if you're reading this, I swear I didn't drive the test ride through the dog poop as retaliation.

I'm in for Sunday. Anyone else?
I'm a maybe for Sunday. Getting back into town late Saturday.
I'm a no go this weekend. Looks like a nice one today.
Sunday for me
Sunday for me.
Be prepared for snow, black ice, and if it's like today, temperatures to get progressively lower during the ride.

Be prepared to suck it up.
i'm going Sunday as well
I'm in
Jeff C and I waited at the Brooklyn Bridge until 8:10 or so and rode off into a cold morning that looked like the sun was going to come out, but it being November, my clear lenses suited me well today.

At Hospital Hill we caught up with Ingrid who crossed the GWB with us where we met up with JP, and John stopped by to say hello and ride a few miles with us.

After John turned, JP wound us through the NJ hinterlands that included riding past Duck Pond, DeForest Lake, Rockland Lake, and through the crazy Insane Asylum (not in that order), which was both spooky and looked like a great condo development site.

After the 9W climb past Rockland, we stopped briefly at Gotham to refuel and jumped back on the road.  9W to the Country Market where Ingrid turned for respite.
And then it was the 3 of us, so I grimaced, knowing JP and Jeff were going to take a leisurely ride that would tear my legs off.  I thought things were wonderful, since I didn't have to pedal much hanging in the back, until that last Unnecessary Hill where I realized Thanksgiving Dinner and Winter were hanging out in my legs, along with 60 miles of ice-strewn streets.  I caught back up with a new spring goal in mind.

JP turned off in Manhattan; Jeff and I made it across a very crowded B Bridge where people, as usual, looked right at us but thought nothing about moving or allowed us to register as coming at them.  We need another level for cyclists, or to have the bike lane removed from the bridge during certain hours.  We also met with Misha who seemed to be bonking and said he could make it home, but it would be a slow grind.  I empathized.

An overcast day, but crisp, windy in the end, snow and ice along the sides of the road.  Others out today by themselves, in groups, everyone waving.  I left at 7:30 and still brought my lights.  Winter riding with teammates.

Home.  85 miles.  I'm tired, I just ate a pound of pasta, and I'm ready to sit in my nice office chair tomorrow for 10 hours of relaxing.  I'll probably get some work done, too.

Thanks, JP, for leading us across some great roads.  Nice job, Ingrid, pushing on the hills - you only get stronger.  Good to see you John.  And thanks, Jeff, for the good company.
Anyone up for 8am BB / 9am GWB to Piermont?

I'll be out.

Fenders though.
not making it. Winter break.

I need to go out and come back earlier tomorrow so won't be joining.
I might try to go out. The sound of wind is not making this easy... Last week I met the girls that leave from rapha at 9
Rolling. Hope to see some strags out there.
A few puffs of wind today but thankfully no ice to contend with. Jeff W. Vlad, Joe? and Keith took the low road to the comfy chairs, rode back with Allblack Perlberg. Vlad and Perlberg piling on the diesel in the tailwind, we were clocking 35mph at one point.
Slept in and had to battle the wind on my lonesome. 14.7mph getting out, 20mph coming back. Tired now :)

Fresh off my winter hiatus, I'm itching to get some miles in this Sunday.

9am at the GWB.  I'm happy to go north. Partial to wormholes, but can do whatever.

Figure now is a time for mostly social riding.  No killing it on the climbs, and perhaps winding it up for fun towards the end.
I'm going to ride my balls off tomorrow. Sunday too. 8am BB.
I'll be out on Sunday. Vlad have mercy, its December.
Sunday for me
i'll be out tomorrow Vlad, GW @9
I will be there Vlad. Unless I wuss out.
Out tomorrow as well.
Looks like I'm not going to make it today. I need to shake this chest cold.
