I'm down for a Sunday ride.
The real question is, are you up for a rematch on Watchung Climb?
Is there a throw down happening Sunday? I'm intrigued.

In the last few months...
...Marc Bertucco - Training and racing and generally kicking ass in cyclocross
...David Yang - Pre-gaming on Halloween candy and Thanksgiving meals and gaining close to 10lbs (not an exaggeration).

(With that said, game on...)
I will be riding on Saturday
I will be riding on Saturday
You going up 9W on saturday Mark? What time you be jersey side of GWB? I'll Tag along
Most rides start at 9:00AM on the Jersey side of the GWB and I plan to be there on Saturday.
@Austin 9am at the GWB, welcome aboard
I'll be there tomorrow as well!
I'll be there too! Peeling off before GWB tho
strike that, shift cable disaster-- out :(
Just throwing it out there for tomorrow- I have never done an official Apple orchards ride. Since it's supposed to be 10 degrees warmer tomorrow I would be open to going there. Anyone game to guide me there?
@Craig, hopefully JP or Marc will be there to guide us through to some good spots. That climb that Marc wants to hit up is fantastic.
imagePerfect fall riding today with a great turn out. RR we ran into an ambulance scene, some guy flatted on the descent and was not in good shape (fell on his coccyx). Stopped at Piermont Cycles where it turned into a Kissena reunion with the new Sommerville team. Good times. Brendan crushing everything in sight, Patrick rides a 120" fixed gear up Alpine.
I'll be out there tomorrow. 8am BB?
tomorrow I plan my usual cunningham trails w the cross bike. around 10 ish am for 2 hours.

text me if interested in joining: 347.225.1058
Man! I wish I was there today. I will be there tomorrow, though.

8 a.m. BB
9 a.m. GWB

Holler if you hear me.
Challah!
Feeling a little sickly after today's ride.  Tomorrow will be a game-time (snooze time) decision for me.

JP is cross racing, but I'm planning on doing a nice ride on Sunday at 9am. The Orchard Ride is a good one, as is the other one--Jersey Wormhole Extended Remix Edition--I was originally thinking about (albeit a bit longer). I guess we can see who shows up and decide tomorrow. I'm happy to lead just about any ride, although a Piermont/Nyack combo doesn't excite me that much.

The nice advantage to the Orchard Ride I guess, is that it's officially cider donut season...
Big ups to @eloy for the awesome Cunningham tutorial today. Serious digging, serious fun. Looking forward to heading out again sometime soon.
@jessica it was so fun!image
so much envy...

Meanwhile, on the road, a nice sized group of 6 or so KCCs mercifully waited at the bridge for my tardy-slip tot'n ass and we went north via the low road, or traditional Kissena group ride route up to Piermont. The Brooklyn contingent stopped for coffee at Mattie's shop, while my Manhattan-residing self needed to get some more miles in, so I continued North, pretending to lead Craig on his first ever Orchard ride. (Dude, I wanted company, where were you?)

Got to the Orchard wandered around inside staring longingly at cider donuts and other baked goods, decided not to ruin a perfectly good fat-burning/tempo-ish ride by stuffing my face with such things. Looked at my watch, realized I was running late and booked it home.

Glad to get out on the open roads for what seemed like one last time before a stiff wind knocks off all remaining leaves.
Marc,

Good meeting you, regretting stopping for coffee and not going on a bit, but the post ride beer and football games were calling too hard at the time. Maybe next weekend.

It's probably good that you stopped on a nice day, because as the weather begins to cool even more, stopping and getting moving again in wet, cold, sweaty cycling clothing is literally painful. Winter stops tend to be more of the, "dear lord, I need to pound some calories quick, because I forgot how much I need to eat on these rides in the winter, and I've bonked" variety.

My plans for the upcoming weekend are somewhat up in the air, may be racing one or both days, but if not, I'll plan on riding a similar distance 4.5-ish hours on one or both of the weekend days.
I'm in for Sunday 8am bb this weekend!
I'm doing 4 hrs Saturday and 4.5 hrs Sunday since it'll be a little nicer weather (48 degrees Sun instead of 41 Sat). Prob try to be at the GWB NJ side 9am both days. Going where the group goes and possibly beyond. Marc- I'll join you this weekend.
Up for at least one probably both days this weekend GWB @ 9. Marc I'm up for whatever- see you all there

I've said it before, but my nursing career has been the worst thing for my cycling career, maybe ever. Fucked up my back yesterday cleaning a patient and doing a dressing change. The irony here is that it now hurts like fuck for me to sit on the toilet. #TMI #IbuprofenNotWorking
I forgot to say one of these days will have to be easy like Zones 1+2. The other day (whichever, I don't care) can be the hammerfest but not TOO hard.

Let's let Marc's back dictate the pace.
